Help Requested! Win 10 stretching 4/3 resolutions on 16/9 monitor in fullscreen mode
Hello Eno and team Redlynx!
I have a rather low-end laptop ( OSWin 8.1) to run the game. My native screen resolution (1366x768) wont give me enough FPS on Fusion.
For 2 years, the solution has been 1024x768 full screen mode. I would get stable 60 fps and good visual comfort, best of both worlds.
Only counterpart was having a 4/3 image with black space on left/right sides but I got so used to it, it feels more natural to me than the normal way
That was until i took the free upgrade to Windows 10 last week...
Now. when i launch the game, 1024x768 full screen mode is automatically stretched to fit the entire 16/9 screen.
Of course, it looks bad, pixelly and its absolutely unplayable.
If I try 1024x768 windowed mode, it takes too many ressources and FPS has drastic drop.
If I try 1366x768 full mode, same thing : drastic FPS drop coupled with lag input.
So, as trivial as it seems at first, its enough to make the game impossible to run for me anymore.
I have no idea why it was going the right way with Win 8.1 for 2 years and not anymore with Win 10.
The in-game video settings menu of the game having no option to tweak it, there is not much I can do here.
So, after lamenting about it for a couple weeks, I have to ask you guys for some help and if you have any idea/workaround to get back to the original deal.
I understand I might be the only one in the community afected by this, but I just miss Track Central and the game pretty bad :p :(
Thanks !
