When I was exiting Camp Hudson, during my first few days of playing, I took a wrong turn and ended up near some earth movers. I noticed two wide trenches, and quickly realized they were digging mass graves. And there were bodybags all around me. It creeped me out. I realized just how grim the situation is for the survivors.
Then, one time, I was on my way back to base in the middle of the night. I was passing by an electronics store when I suddenly heard singing. A woman was singing "Scarborough fair" to someone, possibly her child. I couldn't find her, I could only hear her singing. It made me sad, as well as creeped me out.
Or when I killed one of the mid bosses of Rikers, and then entered their hideout. What I saw was dozens of cannabis plants in pots, under neon lights. I laughed out loud, thinking how fun it must've been for those guys.
Or when I was looking for Faye Lau's sister. I fillowed the echoes to her apartment, and I knew there were some rioters there who wanted to do her harm. I was so relieved to see her alive and well, and a rioter lying on the floor with a smashed guitar next to him.
