How many in your group are still playing?
I normally enjoy tactical shooters. I'm not an MMO guy really. My friends are into more casual games like The Division, and they were super enthusiastic. The Tom Clancy name sold me on it.
I got into the beta, enjoyed it well enough, and ordered the Gold Edition. We had 16 people playing at launch; we got to 30, and then hit the DZ.
I am now the only person still playing. The others have moved on to other games and I've recently picked up Battlefleet Gothic Armada to give me something to do other than farm Lincoln tunnel for the same boring performance mods or other crappy crafting mats.
Hackers run rampant in the DZ and this has gotten so bad that we are killed repeatedly, every time we enter, to the point where we cannot advance.
People that exploited or nolifed got much better gear that we have no chance of competing with.
The content is pretty stale at this point.
I'm bummed out, and really worried about Wildlands at this point, which WAS a day one buy for me based on the preview.
Our choices are now to farm boring missions for terrible gear or get ganked by obvious hackers in the DZ. Just not having fun with it anymore.
I got my money's worth. I really hope The Division continues to improve and will draw my group back in. Is anyone else having a similar experience?
