Hi Kalzzone,
You will need the game on this console because the link is not just with the gamertag but with the game too. It's the only clean way we have to get the information. :)

Just to satisfy my dumb brain , when a track is downloaded liked or disliked , is this shared with the track through out the consoles , i mean will it be classed as 1 single track through out all platforms or 3 different ones built by the same builder. Other words will i on ps4 see if someone as downloaded it from xbox or pc ( not the actual platform name just the indication of other downloads ?.
Example
lets say we were getting an estimated downloads of 400 ppl on ps4 does this now mean that its going to be x by 3 now , will they be collected for each track on each different console sepearatly or is it basicly one single track. It might be a dumb question but the previous recommended only collected the downloads from the platform you were on. If so then it would be ideal if there would be a way to keep tally by other means so it is reflected in the eyes of the builder somehow.
Also it would be a good idea to get this feature advertised on all trials related aspects , it would be good if we could add maybe a little video on our you tube pages ( done in a none profitable way of course ) to help advertise this aspect and hopefully grow the builders base. Its ok havin this new massive feature but if ppl who dont play the game any more dont see it wont be persuaded to return. Maybe some dev could make a quick awesome clip and builders who show tier work via you tube or any other means could help distribute the news of this awesome feature.
I would also like to propose a competition , to make the most amazing name tag to fit in your tracks somewhere so ppl have knowlede of whos tracks are whos , ok some are easily known but still would be a fun exercise.

Nice feature. Just one point where are they?
The feed on the front page contains a load of tracks with no indications where they are from.
It even contains PS4 tracks (im on PS4).
Are these old , new, random? Or just all tracks from all platforms in one big section.
In the feeds all i see is the same with occasionally one marked "Fusion Shared".
But shared from what. If someone from another plat shares a track and they have cross tags i won't know.
Maybe not an issue for newer tracks but impossible to search for older tracks from other platforms.
It simply needs feeds for platforms separately and also all tracks need to be labled as where they are from.
This way people can easily search for all these newly added tracks.
As it stands all this is doing is beefing up TC.
You've just added a **** load of new content and it needs to be shown off.
I can't even search using FusionShared as creator. It comes back no results.
All I see is no new game for 2016. This game is doomed...honestly. I'm not trying to be a negative bloke, but it's reality. I'm sure we will have fun with any tracks not cross platformed yet, but is Redlynx really trying to keep this title afloat with more unicorn dlc? I love the trials franchise, but they need a new game. Adding to this greatly diminished title will not kick start the game.
It's nice to see the enthusiasm from the track central community. I wish I could see past the reality of what is. Low downloads, 300 of 1 million on multiplayer. Monthly players and new players doesn't show up here, so it's irrelevant if you're a track builder.
People like playing new games. It jumpstarts a game. This is common knowledge. Why isn't a new game being made? Maybe this wasn't as profitable as hoped?
I want to see the franchise succeed. The cross plat is great...but really, how many people will start playing Trials because of it? Look at the number playing in 2 months and tell me I'm wrong here.
MP additions and tc are all great, but you need to implement them into a new title.
Hi Funk,
The track sharing has just been automated, so it behaves the same way as when LzZzR was doing it manually for the uplay drops: the stats are platform by platform.
For all the other propositions, discuss it with Shogun and Matt, they'll probably be interested!
Cheers,
Ok thanx for clearing that up for me ,
cheers for your reply :) will see them in the stream today , then again my keyboard isnt working great for chat , anyway thanx for the help.
edit
I do now have my worries that this feature isnt really going to create or help the builders any more. if it is , there needs to be a way that data can be collected and your work been seen to be accounted for. having tracks recommended previous was an accomplishment , this now seems to be somewhat pointless to a builder. Why would anyone care what is happening to their work in a different dimension ?. how is a builder suppose to adapt their work to a wider and different audience if they cant collect information or data to support their builds and influence them to build more and better. I still love the idea and the whole concept of it but more needs to be done to ensure feedback and a calibration of platforms. If this as any intentions of creating more builders to come forth or return. Im on ps4 so unless i can actually see more downloads appearing how is this going to inspire anyone ?. If more downloads are not visible to a builder then why would it increase activity in that area. For riders this is awesome but riders have nothing if builders dont build. I really believe all this hard work and fantastic idea will be a flop if builders dont actually reap anymore visable downloads than there already is. Just knowing your build is on another platform isnt enough , we need to actual reap visable downloads for this feature to actually be of use. Sorry to become negative about it , i love the idea but have become worried we wont actually see any more downloads and even though all platforms are crossed now.
Cheers

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Whelp, see ya guys later.
Hello Again :)
I just want to check, in Matts original post he stated "If the builder has a second account, connected by Uplay across multiple platforms, the track will show as created by them on any platforms they have Uplay access. If the track builder does not have Uplay access on multiple platforms, the creator name will show as FusionShared.
I thought I had done this: If you read my 1st post on this thread (towards the bottom on page 3), but judging by En0-'s reply to Kalzzone's post (at the top of this page) I was incorrect :(
So to find out, I have just Published one of my "Masterpiece's" (cough, cough) on Xbox1 called 'Idle Artic', if possible could someone on PS4 check to see if it shows up in 'Newest Trials' on TC with FusionShared or MajorScam001 as the creator name??
Thanks in advance.
Nothing is there at the moement bud , maybe it takes a while , also when matt said linked names with uplay i think he was meaning that only your self will see it as your name , i or others will see it as fusionshared. I could be wrong , im sure eno will clarify it for you bud
edit , just readin matts post again gives the impression your correct bud. and still no sign of your track dude
I agree with just about everything that Vegas Trash has stated.
(No offence to the devs. They suprised me with how much they have improved Fusion over time
and they really deserve credit for keeping their promises to the community)
Personally i started seeing a scenario in my mind lately where Fusion was basicly a glorified beta testing phase for next gen Trials
with the final ultimate result being a brand new Trials game in april 2016.
In this state of wishfull thinking i saw a Trials game where the bikes would handle & ride normally again,
the clunky editor objects would be gone, the subtlety & gritty look would be back,
and the childish stuff would be gone along with the rainbows.
Obviously this is not going to happen now.
Congratulations on achieving a true cross-platform track central experience though.
This is a real nice achievement.
I see a lot of the same/similar questions popping up.
1. Cross Platform TC is exactly that, TC. So anything you see in TC is going cross platform. All track types from TC.
2. The back catalog of TC tracks will be taken care of in batches of somewhere around 1500 tracks a day, as long as all holds up and continues to function properly.
3. The naming of track creators is tied to Uplay, however it hinges on having a Trials game on the platform. To have your tag show, you must have a Uplay connected Trials game on the platform.
4. Tracks uploaded after the live point for Cross Platform TC should be shared across all platforms instantly.
Any other questions, please do not hesitate to bring them up.
As for any other things that have been brought up in this thread about the future and all else, we don't have anything to communicate to you all at this time. All we have to share in that area is that the things we are doing for Trials Fusion are not about numbers or sales or future titles or anything like that. We are here trying to give the community the tools and empower them in new ways. This community is built around a game that inspires and allows it's fans to put all the Trials elements to work. The recent changes with community feeds and tournaments and now Cross Platform TC are an extension of this philosophy.
Thanks for being awesome and as I said, feel free to continue the discussion and we'll shine some light on anything we can.
Excellent news! :d
As an original member of OTHG (F1yGir1 on Xbox) I was happy to see a couple of my old buddies posting in this thread, It made me think of the good-ole-daysTM when Evo was new. Miss you guys!
Nice job RedLynx, very nice update!
Whatever you guys did with TC, it seems to have fixed my friends feed on PSN, which has been broken since week 2 of release! I'll have to see if it's fixed on xbone as well.
Gonna have to agree with Vegas.
The gamer in me is delighted with all the support Fusion is getting from the devs but the 34 year old adult in me can't help but question all the support Fusion is getting. It's kind of a double edged sword for Redlynx. If they stop supporting it we'll all be saying stuff like "typical, once funds run dry they abandon their fans", but if they keep supporting the game we say stuff like "stop wasting valuable resources that can be used on developing the next big Trials game".
As an adult though I can't help but be concerned for Redlynx. It's easy to forget that Redlynx is a company.. a business. They need to make a profit to stay afloat. I' just struggle to see how a few livestreams, tournaments and updates is keeping the studio in the black. then again I don't know what other active IPs Redlynx have. None of that is really any of our business or concern so I'll say no more on the matter.
When I saw they made TC cross platform I assumed it was because they had the infrastructure built for the next Trials game and it was therefor very easy to add it to Fusion now too.
The fact that Fusion is all they have for the foreseeable future is slightly worrying though.
My guess is their next game will use a modified version of the Trials engine to make something like a platformer, that way the current editor and track central infrastructure can still be used.Quote:

My guess would be Ubisoft want to use the talented people at RL to develop a game that appeals to a much larger player base.
i hope this will also appeal to trials fans.
Is there any way to implement (in the search) a way to search by what platform the track was created? For instance, you could create a new tab called "Platform" and under it have All, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, or Xbox One. I've played through almost all Xbox One tracks on TC that were worth playing, so I'd be interested in checking out specifically, or solely, tracks that came from PS4 or Xbox 360 without the hassle of doing the core search and having to scroll through hundreds or thousands of tracks to find the ones I haven't played.
Also, when are Global Leaderboards going to cross platform How are we going to know who truly reigns supreme? I feel like I'd be the number one player in the world but I'll never be able to truly tell until this change or update happens.
Does anyone see all these crossplatform tracks? When were they planning on uploading the thousands of tracks?
Oozie, you realize Fusion is literally dead these days. By not making another title...it will be much worse in 3 months. All of these updates for a ghost town. Was the 400 people playing mp out of 1 million too eluding a ratio for you to process?
This means a very small decimal of a single percentage are playing. Track downloads, also very low. Tournament numbers are around 650 players.
I'm here to help buddy. Let me know if you want me to explain fractions and so on. After all, we go way back to early Evo.
I'd like to see Fusion as a free game Of the month on both consoles. This may help a little. It's hard to imagine Fusion being the only trials for the next 2 years.
From what I've seen it is pretty garbage. I applaud you for making the community picks actual community picks and not "hey, random redlynx employees like this builder" but at the end of the day I want to make a ham sandwich... and you are not offering me the ability to make my desired sandwich. In fact.. this sandwich is loaded with calories and it sucks balls! On the other hand... its like I don't care at all.
**** happens and who you gonna call.... probably Vegas Trash cause his tracks are pretty full proof. He is a guy and obviously he knows how to build sweet stuff because I've been told such! Onward Vegas.. onward.
Hello Booped,
To make things clear: There is nobody at Ubisoft telling RedLynx what we should do. We're totally free of our strategy and projects. We just have to make at least as much money as we spend. We present our plans regularly for the studio and for the projects, we get feedback but any project that comes from RedLynx is because the team decided to do it. Ubisoft is here to support us and the relationship is very healthy.
Obviously, doing a game like Trials is expensive and appeal to a niche. There is a reason why there is almost no clone of Trials and none of the few ones are really successful: it requires a tons of very unique skills to develop and they are very different from most of the more mainstream games. But that's a risk as much as a strength. Up to us to find the right balance between uniqueness and audience large enough to support our ambitions.
I think RedLynx games have 3 components:
- Skill based: physic based gameplay, leaderboards, etc...
- Community based: UGC, competitions, events, long term support...
- Unexpected silliness: At a first sight, the game is very serious (competition, gameplay skills, etc...) and when you dig in you find all sort of craziness (Easter eggs, challenges, skill games, squirrels, penguin...)
So depending on the size of the project, we'll always have 2 or 3 of these components more or less developed. A big project will have all 3 very developed, a small project will probably have only 2 of these components.
I think that's what makes RedLynx games unique and where the team is great at, but also what the players expect.
Cheers,
Hello Purpleoozi,
We thought about that but it's not allowed on any console to mention the existence of another concurrent platform, which is totally understandable. So, we're always trying to be close to the limit to fight the issue of the split community but doing that type of search was off limit. At the same time, doing automated cross platform was also off limit initially, so maybe in a next game we'll find a solution but for Fusion it will stay like that.
Global leaderboards require to use non-native usernames (either using the Uplay username or the PSN username on X1 and vice versa), this is off limit.
Cheers,
hello im alittle puzzled , this feature as been released for 3 days now and when i go on track central im only seeing around 10 fusionshared tracks. Now its been 3 days now and usually ps4 even low double that amount within that time. I was wondering if this is working properly because can there seriously only be around 10 tracks that have been uploaded on xbox and pc combined in 3 days. I also have heard of people releasing tracks after the start date of this feature and they are not to be found in track central , under any name. Is it working as it should ?. If its all really working fine its alarming to see just actually how much support for the game as been coming from other platforms. I guess xbox lost a alot when the 360 was left behind but still , ps4 for me , if the crossplatform is working correctly obviously as become a massive part in the trials franchise and does show that fusion must have been a success regarding next gen. Where are all these fantastic builders who where a regular recommended builders or featured builders ?. I was expecting to see a flood of awesomeness instead it seems a little underwhelming.:) at the moment.:). Are some just simply not coming through and getting lost in the matrix lol. hopefully this the case and there is masses of awesomeness floating around in a trials vortex , :)
Also what you doing working weekends devs , get ya selfs home and build us some tracks ha ha ha
Hello Funk,
We're monitoring at the same time as we expect hiccups, we'll look at it tomorrow but the script may be blocking things if it encounters some issues. Just a slight delay, nothing too bad.
Cheers,
looks similar on X1, only a few fusion shared between lots of X1 realeases
You're preaching to the wrong choir. I play Fusion for 15 min a week. I've already done the whole "this is what's wrong with Trials Fusion" bit on these forums. I don't need you to systematically breakdown the numbers to fractions, decimals, or ratios.
Everyone knows exactly how I feel about Fusion. But since I've been there/done that (suspended and banned), I now come to these forums to offer my suggestions to potentially make the game more user-friendly for not only myself, but for you, the community, and future players alike, regardless of how dead it may be.
I agree with every point you make and every point you've made. Unfortunately my leash here is so short that (until now) I won't publicly or openly agree to 99% of your posts. I could add infinite amounts of complaints or suggestions to go with yours, but I feel you do a good enough job on your own, that someone like myself can apply my focus elsewhere.
At the end of the day though, you're gonna be that guy standing in the desert wearing a Trials Fusion t-shirt, streaming Trials Fusion on Twitch, building Trials Fusion tracks, awarded Trials Fusion featured builder of the month, giving Trials Fusion interviews, and posting on the Trials Fusion forums.
You can do the math on that one.
X1 ninjas are not being xplat'd to ps4 or PC at the moment. Just letting you guys know. I'm not sure about other lower leveled tracks.
My ninja track got xplat, along with Pinglew's & Stride's. Maybe there's a couple others in the lot, but they're xplatted for sure.
New question though. When are the older TC tracks going to be crossplatted ? And how often ? (I know it's ~1500 a day, just wanna know if it'll be everyday, once/twice a week, ...)
I have heard that all the Xbox360 tracks will not be ported up:nonchalance:
Is this true? Anyone? please...
I'm interested to see what Redlynx could do with a platformer, shooter, or any other type of game. I love Trials, but I love the Editor even more, and I can see it being applied to many different types of games.
Oozi...you realize I actually enjoy making goofy videos right?
Your comments remind me of the guy in a gay bar who tells his buddy how he's much more gay than him because he let 3 dudes get with him that night, instead of the 2 he did. haah
You've played a ton of trials, built a ton of tracks, and have posted more than me on the forum.
If you're a grown man and post hundreds of times on a video game forum...hate to break the news to you, but you're in the same boat. "No dude, you're worse though...you have 3 video up in 5 years."...haha
Of course, I'm obsessed with Trials...it's an illness. That's why I post on a forum about it. Follow along.
Doesn't surprise me that you would use an analogy from a place that you frequent.
But hey, it's nice to see you make a post for once where tears aren't flowing from your eyes as you pout and whine.
Keep up the good work. I enjoy your tracks friend. Your drive-lines are always well thought out. Deco isn't over the top where track performance slows down. Hope to see more from you in the future as you're one of the better builders in the game.
