Farcry Primal Endurance Hunting
I was looking at the game's trailer and noticed that hunting seems to be a big part of the game, so I was wondering about this mechanic. Most games just have some variation of constantly damaging the prey until it dies, but this is inaccurate. In history, people would actually use something called endurance hunting to kill their prey. They would literally just walk towards their prey until it became incapacitated from exhaustion. Humans have insane endurance, so this method would leave them healthy and ready to eat. This would be amazing in your game. You could introduce this game by either having animals be gradually hurt by running away from a hunter, or you could have them have a stamina meter and once it depletes they are slowed and their attacks hurt less. I am no game designer, but it would be cool to see this implemented in a game. It would add to the games uniqueness and its gameplay. If you can do this, I would like to see it.
