Excellent job! Still not sure I can do it all, but excellent job! :)
Guys, make sure you open the video in a new tab or window so you can "like" it on his actual YouTube page. As someone who is trying to get likes/subscribers myself (I don't do videos for Trials currently), I know how much it can help.
Great detailed video! need more these :)
Great tutorial.!
Great job with the tutorial mate and a solid run too.....I've hit the "Like" button on YouTube for you as well !!
Cheers.....Keep up the Great Work !!
EDIT: This thread needs to be made "Sticky" in my opinion as it will help all our fellow riders.....Or at least a Sticky thread with a simple link to carterclems YouTube Page !! ;)
Great, amazing I can go on and on saying good things about your run and tutorial,I did make the first timesaver jump and it will take some more time for a full run though.
Looking forward for more tutorials.
oh ****, thats great and awesome! some feedback. please activate and record your touches and you need a intro with a logo :D
cheers
Really good, any chance we could get a run with Audio?
For the screen recorder I use on Android, displaying the touches is just a built in option.
Great job. I am going to have to watch it a few times and try to replicate your run.
One thing you may want to consider... keep an eye on your audience retention rate analytics. Shoot for >= 50%. In my case, I've tried to keep my videos very short (~2 minutes) so that people aren't tempted to bail before watching at least half. The better your retention, the more likely you are to show up as a recommended video.
The QA team thanks you for these videos. You have a few extra subs coming your way for sure :)

Congratulations on the sticky :) Well deserved!
Looking forward for the next tutorials.
Carterclem, you are a good guy and your tuto are very cool. :)
As everybody say you, congratz for your job. ;)
I have seen the video and even if I dont understand everything you say because I and English... :D
We understand anyway because we talk every 2 Trials. :D
good luck for your future videos, what are the next tracks ?
Really good work with this. Very helpful! Looking forward to further vids! :)
No, I don't think I'll be doing that. Thank you.
Thank you!! I'm looking forward to them too :P
Thank you so much! I had no idea that my idea would be accepted this well, thank you :)
thanks! I'm working on recording a Grease Transit run, but it's taking quite a while. I'm at 18.6 but I'd like at least and 18.3 before starting to make the video. That track is hard :')
Subbed, really great work, thanks man!
Just watch the Pipe Basin video - excellent job carterclem7 - clear and really helpful!
Really awesome job - looking forwards to the next (and now I have to return to Pipe Basin - I never liked the start so I always avoid it if I can :)
little gift for you carterclem !! :p

You see, i did your technique for the last before CP. Everybody can learn if i can.
KarTanK you're a monster. Why'd you have to improve there? Don't you have other tracks to worry about? ;) but anyways, thanks a lot! My video may not have taught you much but I'm glad you enjoyed it :))
Hi carterclem7
I was ranked 125 on pipe basin with a time of 19.7 and now have improved it to 19.2 which is 17 on l.b.
A big thank you to you because without your tutorial I think I could have never figured out both the timesavers and the last jump was so clean that I landed my front wheel a foot further away then where I normally land(cliping the top of the wooden ramp with front wheel,
It's the center part of the track I messed up.
Will give it another try cause I think i can shave a second off.
This is a very cool thread, guys. Looking forward to more videos. I happen to be in a very exclusive club in this game, that is the club of people who have acutally held a nr1 spot over KarTank :) I was on iOS until late this summer, where I dropped my iPhone into the water on a fishing trip. Not knowing the game is divided into iOS and android, I bought an android phone, so I had to start all over again. The track I was nr1 on was Cave Entrance on iOS, the time has probably been beaten by now :) I'm slowing getting my bikes back to fully upgraded, so I'm looking forward to competeing for some top times again.
That was a bit of a digression of what I actually came to this forum for though; How is the major skip towards the end of Parched Cliff done? The one where it's possible to do that short jump onto the tower part, and from there skip the entire next part with the fold-down ramp? Been trying for a while now, not been even close to do it.
bwestie: good luck go get all the stuff, maps and upgrades one more time...btw with parched cliff, skipp the high tower platform, just flight through and make the jump from the lower platfrom over the ramp which gets down without touching it. this is the way to get best time....
Thanks man, slowly getting there. But I think you're mistaken with Parched Cliffs. Most of the ghosts I've raced above me on LB are doing the skip I'm talking about. Touching the shorter tower before the flip-down ramp slows you down a bit, and you have to slow down on the straight ramp at the top also, to not overshoot it. I find it extremely hard to do, I see approximately how the ghosts are doing it, I just can't replicate it. Seems to be a very low to the ground wheelie to start off, but I end up nosediving into the second platform and crash if I try it.
I went to improve my time at Cave Entrance the other day and saw your name near the top of the leaderboard and was curious about who you were, seeing as I hadn't seen your name really anywhere else. Just to let you know, your time (19.430) is 3rd iOS now, behind KarTanK (19.199) and jimmymaignan3 (19.286).
I would be happy to try and make that as my fourth video entry to the series. I'm currently working on my second video, which is Grease Transit. I'm planning on doing my third on The Waterwheel, because that's one of my best tracks and it seems like almost everyone has a fair amount of trouble with the track's broken timesavers. My time at Parched Cliff is currently ranked 24th, but my run is really weak and I know I can improve there soon. The video will be out in the next 3 weeks or so :) I will admit that it's given me trouble in the past though. We'll get it, I hope I can help you out.
Damn, I figured as much. The run was not all that optimized, I had one try before I got the record that I was around .450 ahead of KarTanKs old record, but I screwed up another part of the track, so I knew it would be pretty easy (well not for me) to improve upon.
That Parched Cliff skip is really getting the better of me, I was fidgeting around with it for probably two hours yesterday, only managed to get it once when I was half focusing on something else, so I didn't really see what I did, hence I can't replicate it :D
Keep the videos coming, they're really informative and exciting to watch :)
would it be possible to put a link to your youtube page in the first post? I usually come here to find it and have to search the thread right now
Super sweet tutorial! Can't wait for moar!
subscribed...looking forward xmax holiday, hopefully your videos and some spare time let me break into top 100 in LB :) keep up man
