Unicorn Dev/help
Hi guys i know i have already got a thread asking about this but i was hoping an actual dev who created the dl's for the unicorn could help out with a problem i seem to be having. Reading about the forum its seems there is a few thinking the same. Dont get me wrong i aprreciate the help from others , just thought this might need to come from an actuall developer of the unicorn , as its is a new feature and trials is known for taking time to master.
Could a dev give advice on what or how to create a driveline where the horse does not jolt forward on most landings. As there is a competition for this feature i would like the horse not to constantly jolt forward whenever it feels like it. I dont think its me who is causing this or anything on the dl that is causing this , i feel it is something to do with the physics and would like some help with this.
At the moment i have the horse coming off a higher level than the ground ( only a meter or so ) at the start and landing on a slight downward hill , which sometimes more often than not is causing the the unicorn to jolt forward and it continues to do this almost on every landing. I noticed from the ingame MK2 tracks that there is many downward lines in which it doesnt seem to happen as much , so i was wondering is there a certain way to achieve this. Landing on all fours seems to work better but any catch of the back end and its jolts and slows the motion of the unicorn down. I have found that the aim of trials and to get the best times is to get as much contact with the back end of the bike on the dl as possible keeping the momentum up and power going but this seems not to fit with the unicorn. Maybe there is an entirely different way to approach the unicorn Mk2 tracks and riding it.
Obviously an horse need all four legs for motion so maybe , catching back legs or wheelie type landings are something which you cant do with this vehical and all fours landing or the aim to be on all four legs constant is a must. Which would fit the physics of a unicorn but trials being what it is , riders just dont know that and are so use to using the back end of the vehical in the run. Maybe this is something that should be spread via a tutorial or on the dashboard which would help people enjoy the unicorn much more.
Hope a dev can help with this problem as i want to submit my entry and have the full effect of the unicorn without the jolting process making the track look badly built , i can make a good job of that my self haha:p
cheers guys.
