USELESS Ubisoft customer support
Hi guys
I purchased both Far Cry4 and Watch Dogs online and recently had to reinstall Windows. Consequently my games no longer work even though they were on a separate partition. Now i thought this may happen so I looked in the "installs" folder for the backup of the install file - NOTHING. And I did not have "delete install files" checked. I attempted to login to Uplay which told me I needed to download the game so I clicked okay and waited....and waited, watching the little spinning icon for hours on end until...nothing happened.
I contacted Ubisoft customer support and explained the whole scenario. Without filling this space with the ridiculous replies I got, suffice to say the whole "support" thing went around in circles with them telling me I need to download the game again....DUH! I can't download the game because Uplay won't connect to Ubisoft servers.
I don't have a proxy set. They asked me for my directX settings and system setup. Absolutely NO bearring on the problem. I've been back and forth trying to get a sensible answer from these monkeys but to no avail! ALL I ask is that I can re-download the games so i can install them and play the games I PAID for!
Maybe I'd be better off with a copied version. That way I'd actually have something I could USE !!!!
