I loved FC2. Sure, the SP campaign was buggy, but it offered something really unique, particularly for someone who's not brilliant at shooters. I loved the immersion and the sandbox approach to every challenge. I played it through several times! As for MP, I was never very good. I think I tried to rank up by playing a lot of CTD on the castle map, which worked when my XP didn't get lost (did I mention there were bugs?!). Ultimately I spent most of my time being a rubbish player but having a ton of fun in big maps with vehicles, mostly made by the brilliant FC2 map-making community. I fear that in FC3, Ubisoft have only taken the SP forward by 4 years. The MP seems to have turned its back on the Far Cry heritage, perhaps due to the involvement of a new development team. It may be a massive disappointment if we can't use vehicles in the multiplayer maps that people create online.
