  1. I think i figured out how to harmonize this sweeping pattern here is my first try to harmonize sweep picking . im thinking these patterns will work with each other when played on top of each other and will create a badass Harmonizing sweep that sounds like sweeping chords
what im doing is playing a major sweep moving up 4 frets and playing a minor sweep then move up another 3 frets and play a major sweep .
    ------LowE - - - - - - - - - -
    pinkie-- A -7- - - - - --7- -
    ring -----D - 6- - - - - 6 - -
    pointer- G - -4 - - - -4- -
    middle--B - - 5 - - -5 - -
    pointer -E - - -4-7-4- - - -

that book helped me get my guitar sound under control....it also helped me with mixing and mastering.
  3. The part about Sweep picking that i needed to work on i think was that i needed to think about the whole sweep before i start it. in a way i almost have to think about playing the guitar compleatly differently normally i just try to stay in a key and use a few different scales, ill just kinda make it up as i go not really thinking to far ahead and mainly listening to what im doing for suggestions as to what should come next.

my big break through was the fact that now im thinking about this whole scale sweep more of in terms of a chord and not like my free roaming solos

if your having troubles with sweeping id say the best place to start is by learning at least the major and minor scale then once you can play the major and minor scale with your eyes shut no problems try sweeping

the sweeping pattern that has got me to understand a little bit better is
  4. ( A Minor sweep pattern)
