I never changed the default settings of the joystick and I was wondering if people were changing them for better control.

Do you change the Pitch, Roll and Yawn settings? If yes, what's the best setting?

What's the dead band and filtering?

thanks

I had changed mine, but found that I didn't like the change, and wound up going with defaults, except in yaw.

With my pedals, I had to set a bit of dead-zone so that the weight of my legs didn't set the rudder off a bit. I also turned the settings down because deflection was just tooooooo much.

Deadzone means the center of the stick does nothing. You have to move past a certain point before the stick does anything.

Smoothing mellows the stick out. If you have low sensitivity close to center, while having high sensitivity around the edges, mellow the in-between-area out by using smoothing.

There are some very good settings at .mudmovers you can give a try.
