Just wondering what people are working on / building in the editor.

That above is a very early map which has been rotting on my HD since the first several days, it was going to be some kind of race map but until I find out how COOP works I won't be doing any more work on this.

Also unsure about this one, I planned on having 3-5 locations where the player had to clear out the A.I. with travel available between the locations.

This was intended as a fun map for COOP where you race on Elephants and you have to kill all the dogs & A.I. before the time runs out, problem is I believe the Elephants would have to be killed also in a Hunt style map - might still do something with this and make it a little crazy.

This was going to be a Fortress map with ATV and Buzzer available for movement

Not sure if anyone remembers the old game called Q-Bert I was playing around with the jumping height and gravity and got a stupid idea in my head, This is gone now / deleted so won't be happening.

The maps above are not even at 10% yet with an exception to the Fortress map which I have done a little more work on.

I still like the idea of a stealthy map where if you get spotted it's game over and I liked the last map by Tektoro so might even do something brutal with headshots only in an indoor style arena / coridoor style map.

Just thought I would pass on what is work in progress, I am always tinkering around and starting new maps that often get deleted.

I like the idea of elephant race for coop.
You could do it in extraction mode, to have a finish line.
With some animals, enemies with cars and other obstacles in the path, it could work well.

The fortress with buzzer and ATV ... I have an idea to address the problem with excessive flight altitude which has the buzzer.
I have to check tonight and I'll comment ;)

I'm bundled with this.
Are two screenshots that have changed significantly since the did.
I hope to publish this weekend. My first map in the assault mode… And no, it is not Eye for an eye 3

No Q-Bert. Everybody loves Q-Bert. Well I guess you need that zany arcade like sound to pull it off.

I have not done any more to the maps in the first post - Had a month away and started something new recently.


This map will either be a huge fail as people just won't understand it - or it will be a lot of fun and might get the creative juices flowing for some using some crazy ideas for COOP.

Work In Progress map - the idea is that both players spawn at the start in their own area, They must race each other - they have some obstacles to navigate and once past those they get to a Quad (each) they then race until they get to an area where there are enemy soldiers.

They then have the option to keep racing with the winner been the first one to the Extraction point or then can work together to overcome the enemy.

Now that the cages work with animals there are 2 areas of the map where I will place animals in cages - the player winning the race then has the option to shoot the doors open knowing that the other player has to pass these areas so will also have an animal to tackle.

The only thing that can spoil this is once a player is killed they will then spawn next to the other player but this should in theory only happen when fighting the enemy waves close to the end (Hoprfully)

Final map should be finished in the next 48 hrs.
I have not yet seen anything like this on Far cry 4 so it will be interesting to see feedback from anyone who plays the published map.

I'm currently working on a prison fortress, trying to balance it for co-op. I'm just about done with it and will be publishing within the next few days on Xbox One. It's called The Boiling Rock, and I would like to thank The Slim Reaper for giving me solid advice on how to finish the layout for my map. I just hit my object limit last night and I am pretty satisfied with the results, so now I am moving on to AI.

When it is no longer a work in progress, I'll be sure to post it on here with videos, but I'm not the best at that. Would anyone on here be willing to help me out with that?

Sounds great, so are you on PC ?
Some of the guys at www.battlemap.net might help you out with video if you are on the PC Platform.


Done some more work to this map and now starting to look towards publishing hopefully tomorrow.

I have loads of resources left for Objects I can use (Only in the 70s right now)

Right now I am considering taking out the start area with the grapelling hook and the jumps - Might just start the race a little earlier and have it more about the vehicles, I can do something crazy another time.

I think I have made this map a little boring, even with some eye candy it's just a straight A-B race, I think to make the map work in solo mode I need this fire fight at the end.

Edit - Think I will take out the climbing / jumping section at the start and raise some water layers so that the race starts with a short run to a jetski then a water race to the ATV and then follow the road to the end.

Thinking the end will have an underground bunker as I have a lot of resources left to use.

I am on the Xbox One. I was thinking I could just record gamecocks and access them on my profile to share online. But I am close to publishing, just need to balance the AI. Any tips for AI animation points and how they work?

I can't get any screenshots up, but I do have 3 maps that are in the works.

One is called Bosko Forest Escape, it's an extraction which gets you lost in a very unique forest which sees you in very rocky crevasses surrounded by trees and with certain areas where there is housing. This map looks beautiful in me and my friends opinions and could be a debut for me.

Another is a small Assault map called Hatka Town, you and 4 allies are attempting to take back a small village in the open from the Royal Army, this village is mostly abandoned and overgrown. After killing all of the enemies in the village, a large patrol advances from the treeline into the village and your allies who are waiting on enemies, come under attack.

The last one is a larger Assault map called Ghadi Town. This map is set in more enclosed mountains. The town consists of two separate housing areas, one is a smaller one that is easy for you and your 3 Golden Path allies to take, the other one is a larger one that has an enemy mounted gun at the main road. The two housing areas also have an open field between them, being spotted is easy there! After you kill all of the enemies in the villages, the cavalry turns up!

There is only one big problem though... I am a very skilled map maker, I know all of the tricks, but my maps just end up going un-noticed over all of this JackSepticEye rubbish... I might give up map making and just drop everything.
