I see something in the IL-2 loadout called a PTAB.
I dropped some in a QM and they don't seem to explode on contact with the ground.
Are they timed bombs?
Perhaps aerial deployed land mines?

Anyone know?

"because they are anti-armor, which means they have to hit something hard to explode." ???
why would it have to hit something hard to explode? should it be metal or what?
is there some kinda sensor which reads the surface where bomb fell??
id say it has normal impact fuse and it should explode right away when it comes down and touches something.
