Been reading a lot a debates all over the place about what planes should be included in PB... so here is a specific outlet. try to keep it down to no more than 25 basic types (try to keep the individual variants down to minimums). Also, try to avoid listing any aircraft already used in preious IL2 titles (let's assume oldies such as Warhawk and Zero WILL be there http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)

Have a blast, boys. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

Alyssa

BTW - I'll start with my own

UNITED STATES -
Fighters: Wildcat, Hellcat, Corsair, Mohawk, Bearcat
Bombers (all types): Dauntless, Helldiver, Devastator, Avenger, Catalina, Superfortress, Maurader.

JAPAN -
Fighters: Claude, Jack, Oscar, George, Tony, Nick, Sam
Bombers (all types): Val, Judy, Kate, Jill, Betty, Rita, Okha.

Luthier has said we must wait until E3 convention to get more info and that only a little more will likely be leaked http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/10.gif by his highly nefarious and slightly mercenary staff of hooligans.. E3 is in mid-May? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

Thx, Heywooood (did I get all the o's http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif). Still..... for s*#t's and giggles...

ie - We can figure the Val will be there based on screenshot posts to the IL2 site. Just think it'll be fun to see what people want.

Cheers, http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

have you been to Netwings? or IL2FB database?

some of those plane are WIP and Luthier has said not to assume any of them will be in the PF initial release (if at all) but

Why develope them if not for use at some point. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif and the number of 'o's in heywoooooooood is not important to anyone but the actual heywoooooooooooood http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

Hello again, Heywoooooooood (that's a direct cut-n-paste, so it'd better be right http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

To the first 2 questions, no http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gifand yes http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

If I've raised up the hornet's nest here, then I'll stop. Didn't see any harm in this one, considering a whole lot of folks are doing it elsewhere in this forum (Bearcat is a good example). Just wanted to give them all a dedicated outlet.

Someone was putting together a FAQ with a list of possible (rumors only!) flyables.

Till E3 Luthier will not be able to confirm anything...

Thx IceFire. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif That's two out of two. Consider topic closed and killed.

Any way to remove this stupid topic?

Thats it IceFire - very concise as always.

and Alyssa - it is a touchy subject for Luthier because it has been asked for so often now... and it has made him sick and near death.
But don't worry - I have the cure.

More -o-'s in heywoooooooooooooooooooood oughta do it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Seriously - I think its just another "Paul is dead" Beatles ripoff and if you look at this forum backwards you can see Luthier dancing in a pair of buttless chaps. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

Just saw 'NOTICE TO ALL FORUM DENIZENS:' http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/1072.gif
Luthier - pls forgive and get better soon.

And as for you, Heywoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif thanks for trying to keep the clueless one out of trouble. Same to you IceFire. Kiss to both. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

Dancing in buttless chaps, huh? hmmmh, must try that one day http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

or have I already? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Your not offsides Alyssa -

I might be - just so everyone knows it - I am not trying to make light of Luthiers missfortune, I am assuming that he is only "under the weather" and not seriously ill.

I suddenly realise however that "Alyssa" is not a masculine name http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif so Alyssa any pic of yourself in the buttless chaps that you wish to share.. please PM me ASAP and I a$$ - sure you I will not leak them to anyone. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

My post's are my asumptions only, and in no way linked to fact. I am not an official 1C, Ubi, or Russian Red Rocket spokesman.

I'm eagerly awaiting the plane list after E3 too, and will be happy with whatever makes "the cut", but there will always be a firestorm as others fav planes don't make the list. That's why I won't get too fixated on a particular aircraft.

But as far as the 3D models are concerned, I'd rather have it be "feast" and Luthier have lots of choices on which to include or not, than have it be "famine". We can always get the rest in future patches.

Yet again, a common mistake made by many people... Thinking that the Pacific Theater was fought solely by the American's and the Japaneseā... As can be seen by the choice of a/c above. Surely it would be more appropriate to the people who fought at the time to class the a/c into their two respective groups, namely the Allies and the Axis...

Thankyou for your time...Plebeā's

Planes I'd like to see in the initial release (because unless sales bomb you know they'll make an expansion) on the Japanese side. Note I'm not including obvious planes like the F6F and Zero.

US: P47 (all of the variants), P51, B25, B24, B17, A20, PBY, P61, P63, P39

Japan:
D4Y3 Suisei (aka Judy, both radial and liquid-cooled variants)
B7A Ryusei
B6N Tenzan
C6N Saiun
Ki-67 Hiryu

For the inevitable expansion pack:
F8F, F7F, F2G, A7M2, Ki-83, Ki-94, A6M8 Zero.

Secudus -

Wheres the Flying Sub?.. I thought for sure it was goint to replace the Westy in your sig http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif..

Only GK makes direct reference to plane types..
and Gibbage is still trying to promote the Pancake http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif.. jokingly I hope..the rest of us are waiting for E3 for the list of ALL flyables and AI plane types.

but Plebe is a good word for GK

GK, we wont ever see any jet planes in PF, as Luthier already stated, so forget your freaking jap jet in your wish list.

Aww come on, give us some British arcraft and how about an Aussie CA Boomerang? Sure, make PF predominantly US and Japan but one or two British and/or Aussie types can't do any harm can they? I may be getting somebody's back up here but isn't this a great opportnity to put some ordnance on a Hurribomber and paint it up in a Burma scheme??
