Do you need a thief to get into some rooms? I have done a fair bit of the main halls now (fighter, barbarian, sorc and cleric) and noticed several rooms with no obvious access in which there appears to be loot. One I even have a key for the chets but cant get in - and i still cant fid many of the keys to various chests despite having done everything you can get to (apart from Zud) on main halls level without going upstairs or downstairs.

IS there a way of gettig into these seemingly sealed up rooms ?

thanks
JTD

Adventuring without a rogue can be difficult, but not impossible. As far as rooms without obvious access, try turning on die rolls(by hitting the right alt button on the keyboard). So when you walk by any wall that has a hidden door, the computer has to determine if your characters actually see it by making a die roll. When that happens you will see the roll being made and know that there is a hidden door inside that wall. Works for me http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif GL Jenn

The secret doors look a little different too. After you've found them a couple times, you'll be able to spot them on your own.

I will also mention some rooms can only be accessed by going up or down a level. There you will find teleporters or stairs into the small enclosed area. So if you tried finding secret doors and came up empty then that is likely the situation.

If all else fails outrun the halfling. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
