View Full Version : Manual Onscreen targeting / lock-on?

So while playing Unity yesterday I stumbled up a way to place on-screen targets in to the world by holding the Left Bumper (LB on X1) and pressing 'A' to highlight...whatever, BUT I don't know what this is for.

Is it just a waypoint? Are you suppose to be able to "mark" targets a-la Splinter cell?

Does anybody know?

I use it for Co-op with my buddy. I'll mark which enemies I plan on taking out, or put one on a roof and tell him that's where he should go, etc. Pretty useful, but I do have issues with removing the marks sometimes.

Ok, well that makes sense. I didn't even think about it in the context of Co-Op.

Tip: If you mark an enemy and your partner kills them, they'll get a 300 points 'marked kill' bonus.

@Vinyl: You can remove all markers at once by doing the same thing like when setting a marker, only hold the buttons longer.
