HI everyone,
i received the ACU Bastille Edition for Christmas (yeah, great isn't it?:p) I fed my PC with the 5 DVD ROMs and my Uplay Launcher accepts also the 2 Bonus missions and so on, new Patch of 6 GBs applied as well, and ERROR. Can#t even launch the game.
I read multiple Posts here in the Forum about ACU not running correctly and so on. one of the most helpful Posts to others
http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/953087-acu-exe-crash-fix?p=10359630&viewfull=1#post10359630 didn't help me at all.
Even if i deinstall the game just reinstall it via DVDs and want to "play it offline" i receive the same Error. My game isn't even Launching.
Jeah, i know, running as Admin and all these little things,.. i did it, installed it properly i receive the Error Message right away.
Since i reread the minimal Requirements,.. i have a slight guess what it could be,..
MY System:
NVIDEA GeForce GTX 670 (NOT 680,.. is this allready the reason?)
Intel Core i5-3570k 4Core
8gb double RAM

i Mean my System is not weak, i am sure i can run the game, but at least, AT LEAST Bring me into the Starting Menu,.. this is more than ridicolous that i can't even see the Intro,.. what is this? Any wild guesses what it could be?

Greetz and happy new year

Nick

Hello,

This error is related to VC++ missing DLLs, try to install it from [Game Installation Folder]\Support\Software\VCRedist

And you might also need to install this one as well:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

And also install DirectX from [Game Installation Folder]\Support\Software.

However, if it didnt work, then you can follow this article since its a common VC++ error:

http://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-solve-error-message-"the-application-was-unable-to-start-correctly-(0x000007b)-click-ok-to-close-the-application"-1106.html

I am not sure what you mean by legit copy of syndicate.... but it would help if you post your pc spec including your operating system and whether it is 32 or 64 bit

These fixes don't work for me. I've downloaded the game from UbiSoft. It installed. I clicked play. Nothing. Then, I verify files. It redownloads some files. I click play. All I get is the splashscreen, and nothing happens. Then I do a forcequit. Restart. REverified files. Pressed play again. Splashscreen for over 5 minutes. Forcequit again. and on and on. All I get is the splashscreen. Reinstalled DirectX. Reinstalled VCRedist. Reinstalled Net Framework. Restarted computer. Started U-Play. Clicked play. Hanging...hanging...then splashscreen. No error messages. Game doesn't start. Although I obtained this for free from Ubisoft, being unable to play is very frustrating. Had the SAME problem with another "rig" using a retail-purchase DVDROM of this same game last year. Same problem, different computer.

My "rig":
AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core Processor (3.5GHZ-4.0(OC)
Asus 970 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard
16GB Ram
AMD Radeon R9 200 Graphics Card (2GB Ram)
50'' LED Monitor
Windows 10 Home (64-Bit)

So, I don't know what I've done wrong, after trying all of the fixes offered for this particular issue. If anyone can think of anything, please let me know. I'm running the U-Play service on a brand-new computer. Thank you in advance.

Hi Wolflover1968, I assume you are talking about Unity.
The basic fixes for problems are
verify game files (which you have done)
run Accu.exe AND uplay as administrator
and then going through the solutions on page one of this thread

My spec:

It keeps loading endless, first time when i click play it open but after 20-30 minutes of playing it freeze the game and stop working and from that moment it keep loading and did not open.

I try it with "verify files" at least 10 times and nothing, https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/984398-PC-ACU-Troubleshooting-Guide-And-Possible-Solutions? not sure in what category is my problem.
