lol good flying

-1- dont make pics online
-2- DO record a quick-recording (assign a key under controls)
-3- play that quick-record back later http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif freeze/slow accelerate time - AND - see all!
-4- position camera - set your gfx to highest setting http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif and take the pics under perfect conditions http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The pictures (screenshots are stored as grab00xxx.TGA files in main FB folder) ARE overwritten every time you start FB the QUICKxxx.ntrk (net-track) in the /records/ folder under FB are not! (they just grow - keep an eye on them http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif )

and remember taking screenshots online induces lag! - recording the whole thing induces lag only whenm started - and that - much less than a screenshot http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

-A- edit conf.ini
-B- set Forest=3
Water=2

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

then select perfect under custom video settings and cranck the aaf/etc up! set stencil buffer on etc etc http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

and if ya got nVidea (maybe ATI too) - make the conf.ini read/only after ya edited it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
The game over-writes the forest etc etc etc settings otherwise

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif anyways - hi FPS is low gfx settings - if hosting drop the settings http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif - 1024x768 max res 32 bit and better have 1GByte ram onoard too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif especialy over cities http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif - so record on hi fps and play back on low http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I suggest similar things except I use water = 0 for better FPS but still pixel shaded water and perfect mode settings.

Depends on your system too.

Mine is a 2700+, A7N8X, Soundstorm, 512mb PC2700 and the ATI version of the 9700Pro.

I run:
Perfect mode in 1024x768 in 32bit color. FSAA is set to 2x. AS is set to 4x performance mode (or quality, depends). Using Catalyst 4.7.

I get somewhere between 25-40 fps average on the typical missions. Even over Berlin it only bogs down zoomed in or with lots of things going on. So not bad overall!

I've these settings....

http://img31.exs.cx/img31/8998/wwwwwwwwwww.jpg

... with an HIS Radeon 3700 pro and it works great in 1280x1024 32 bits!

With the antialeasing set to 4x, it's very pretty, but the fps's drop too much!

Cheers,

My setting is just 4x anti alaising and 2x anisotropic filtering on a 9800PRO. It works at like 40-50 FPS with coasties settings.

Dude, one think you have 9700pro i know it's not 9800pro but it's not that bad. I'm using 9600XT and playing FB+Ace exp at perfect setting (default display setting at 1024X768). Go perfect and enjoy! Just make sure to use either Cat 4.7 or 4.8.

my sets in setup, raideon 9xxx, in-game maxed out. get mid to low 20's at deck, 30's-40's upstairs. if u really want a 'trip', check out 'classic' in the smartshaders setting. seems the 50 cal's really stand out
