View Full Version : Some guidance for custom moding the map in FC3

Hi everyone!

so after finally getting confortable with one of the many mod compilations from the nexus, i find myself trying to make a slight adjustment to the mini-map, and was wondering if anyone here may lay some help, or guideance rather, as I'm not quite the expert with handling the .fat and .dat files.

So, basically, what I would like to know how to accomplish, are the following two things:

- first, to eliminate the icons for plants/leaves from the minimap.

- and secondly, to eliminate the wallhack feature, while still being able to mark enemies on the minimap. That way I'll need to use crafting to get to see enemies throught walls.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
