How does it work? FS 2004 and LOMAC too?

I used em with cfs2 but I found they were problematic to configure for il2 (not sure but I dont think they support OpenGL very well )

3D glasses do NOT work on ATI cards... that said - they're a pain in the A$$ for nVidea cards too, they don't work with LCD/TFT screens, you got to have a CRT monitor that AT LEAST does 120Hz refresh rate etc etc

Tried em - didn't like em - waste of time.
All you get is a headache.

IL2 Sturmo and Forgotten Battles do support 3D glasses (under DirectX only I think, you also need the 3d drivers for nVidea).

Especially with FS2004 I have seriously considered them, but THAT answers that!

I have stereoscopic glasses with my asus geforce3 and to run opengl the monitor has to run at least 100hz @ 1280x960 or 1280x1024 to give 640x480 stereo mode. To run 800x600 stereo mode the monitor has to be set to 1600x900 or 1600x1200 and refresh rate @ 100hz, my monitor won't run 100hz@1600x900. Direct3D doesn't seem to have the same high, screen resolution of opengl, the monitor has to run at least 100hz @ 800x600,,,,hmmm,,,,makes me think seriously about revisiting my asus/nvidia drivers and giving direct3d a go in il2fb http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Okay but luckily none of your issues applies to me.

I have used Edimensionals stereo3D glasses before. Sold them some month ago when I gave up ATI would ever support them. However IL 2 and FS 2002 was awesome with those and my ti-4600 and they didn´t flicker at all or anything or gave me headache.

To some up the edimensionals though they aren´t pretty they are light, they don´t flicker but as said they require a monitor that can do high refresh rates. Luckily I got a 21" monitor that can do just that.

Also they don´t cut the resolution in half all you need is bump the refresh rate. 120 hertz is totally flicker free and 100 hertz is acceptable with those.

Anyway so in FS 2002 and IL 2 I know they work but that don´t matter since I am now running FS 2004 and IL 2 FB and Aces expansion.

So do anyone here have any experience with these glasses in these games?

I am wondering because if they work great I am considering getting a 6800 ULTRA if not I will probably go with a X800 PRO or X800XT
