Hi all,

So, I downloaded uplay the other day because I got a free Ubi game with my new GPU and I began to download The Crew. The game download got to about 30% and it was playable so I started playing the game. By the time I finished playing the download was still at around 40% so I paused the download and shut down my computer for the night. However, I not have no way of un-pausing the download! The download option has disappeared from the game screen and I cant find any sort of 'download manager'... Any assistance would be good?

Thanks,

Ollie

Hello Ollie,

Thank you for contacting us. I'm uncertain why you don't have the option to resume your download. However, if Uplay is left running, when your computer goes idle (i.e. you are not using it for anything and a certain amount of time elapses) the Uplay background downloader should start up and download any outstanding updates/files for games you have installed on your computer.

To avoid impacting your computer's performance, the background downloader won't run when you are actively using your computer, only when your computer is left idle for a period of time.

For technical assistance with the issue of the download option not appearing for you, please contact the Ubisoft Support team directly.
