View Full Version : Something About UBI and Gaming Community....("Improving Relationship")

UBI love to steal headlines don't they. After this Unity fiasco (which we all know most likely they will leave Unity broken like AC3 and move to ACVictory or will take at least six months to make the game playable like WatchDogs), I bet Ubi will come out with a headline "we would like to improve relationship with Console gamers). We all know what happened to PC games from Ubisoft. Lazy and unoptimized ports from kiev. It's just about time before all console games from UBI to suffer similar things.

I feel sorry for the devs because surely they asked for more time from Ubi publishers in order to polish the game. Ubi publisher though, being too greedy for holiday season, decided to ship the game half baked. Thank God for that 10% stock drop, so they realize they messed up.

Loved UBI during AC-AC2 era where ambitious devs like Patrick Desilets (yes UBI the father of AC whom you FIRED) and Jade Raymond actually being passionate about their games and make games to be such brilliant arts. But now, Ubi is all about milking customers to the point where it can't be milked anymore. Also, some devs who actually overhype their games to the point where many of what they say are not even in the final products (yes I'm looking at you Hutchinson) are just disgusting.

Learn from CDProjekt. Less PR, more great games. They are adored by PC community. They give Witcher 3's 16 DLCs FOR FREE. They focus on making the game to be awesome in terms of gameplay and story, not just about sales. No season pass, no microtransaction, no freemium companion app which lock contents and BS all over the game. It's all about their game, the art, the project for gamers and not about millions of cash they will get.

Ubisoft Quebec is producing Victory so they guys working on Unity have nothing to do with Victory whatsoever

I don't really have a relationship with any vendors... people make things and if I want them I buy them.
