I bought BoE a time ago and I wonder if it will be patched to 2.01 compatibility (new carrier for P38, Spits)

Altitude, speed, manoeuvre and.... CRASH!

That's probably one of the most interesting questions I've ever seen on this forum. Congratulations!

There are carriers in BoE? I didn't think we were getting carriers until PF. P-38 was never used on a carrier anyway. Cant the Spits be used on them already?

I wouldn't join any club that would have ME as member!

He means new Career.

The answer is yes, there is a patch that updates BoE with the new planes, it is ready and 1C Maddox are sorting out the installer.

I wish they'd hurry up!

Ah, so much for my failed attempt at sarcasm. Sorry Stalker58.

I thought noone actually bought those addons. Are they really any good compared to the missions and campaigns made by fans?

What makes them good is that they are dynamic campaigns where your actions dictate the next mission and front line markers also. After the patch it will be even better. Mind you, this is the western front of operations in Europe. But after the patch, the US and it's allies will have more attack aircrft to choose from. It has 6 offline campaigns and 6 online campaigns. Three or four single missions and 93 new historical skins. Check it out at www.justflight.com (http://www.justflight.com) Worth it if you are interestested in the western front theatre of operations.

The big advantage I see w/ BOE (and the main reason I'm going to get it once they patch it up) is the ability to use a wider array of planes from different nationalities w/ the ingame dgen. Outside of that, DCG works just as nicely with the 'replacement' option.

Quite fancy getting BOE myself - would be interested in the western front campaigns... I take it this would be the right one to get and not gmx's COE... heard some not so complimentary things about it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Anyways, not in a desperate hurry for it - will probably wait until they patch it to bring it in line with AEP/2.01.

S!
