I'm on a 56K modem and 2.01 is the biggest patch I can remember! Does anyone know of a way to order the patch by mail? I've done this before for $5 through a company called--if I remember correctly--"CDBurn" or something. HOwever, I personally had bad luck with them twice--the files were corrupt and I ended up downloading them off the web after all (excruciatingly slow but with good results). Does anyone know of a reasonably cheap and reliable outfit that'll send out copies on CD? Thanks for any help!

I had dialup at home for many years. If you have a decent ISP and connect around 53k, then you get about 3 minutes/meg. So 100 megs is around 5 hours. Fire it up, go to bed and wake with joy. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gif

If you do download it using 56k - use a download accelerator - this will get you resuming capability so that you can stop downloading and not loose what you have already...

Try www.download.com (http://www.download.com) and look for Download Accelerator Plus http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks very much for the kind offer Taylortony, but I'm in the U.S.! Lil labbit thanks for the link to Download Accelerator. I think it's what I'm looking for because my main problem has been getting cut off by my ISP. For previous patches I've had to stay near my computer the whole 6-8 hours keeping my browser active so they wouldn't kick me off! Again--thanks all.

Download Accelerator Plus has one huge disadvantage- it contains spyware, which is why I will never use it.
