Hello guys,

After seeing quite a few people creating threads just to hate on ACU over the stupidest things i felt like this thread was necessary.

I've been playing this game for 3 days straight i'm on sequence 9 now and i must say this is the FIRST AC which i have been so distracted by the side content.
The Rifts, Co Op, Cafe De Theatre missions, Nostrdamus stuff etc. Its all so bloody interesting & the way you upgrade yourself to a minor Assassin to an experienced legend is just amazing if you ask me.

The graphics, parkour, mechanics everything is absolute perfect. The overall feel of the game feels so alive and i feel like i'm actually in the game.

The story is actually pretty good and i'm loving it so far (not the best story ever) but the game is so perfect that it just looks so cool when you watch the cinematics.

They have literally perfected everything for an AC Fan.

So the bad things i would include would be the Frame rate & Glitches.
if these things were not an issue i think no one would of complained about this game tbh.
i honestly can't consider you people AC Fans if you don't like this game. It's the most AC Feeling game ever.

Amancio made the near perfect AC Game imo. It just needed more time to be absolute perfect.

This game also feels better then any AC by a million miles, playing this game has me forgotten about the whole North American saga which thinking about it sounds boring now.
Maybe playing Rogue will get me interested again but i don't think i'll be playing that till few days.

I really hope these so called ''reviews'' & ''hate posts'' don't affect the way AC will be made in the future.
Hopefully just Framerate fixes & Gltiches.

I couldn't agree more, haha. This game is the most fun I've had in an Assassin's Creed game since, well, I don't know. I don't remember having this much fun in an Assassin's Creed game, EVER! And just talking about what it delivers for an Assassin's Creed, I'm surprised by how many people are ''disappointed''. I mean, if Unity is a disappointment, then nothing will satisfy you.

Unity is the accumulation of the best in the franchise. Gameplay, side content, story, and CO-OP, its all fantastic. There's a HUGE attention to detail. And speaking of which, I'm surprised by how little people are talking about the CO-OP. I've been having a blast with it! I'm almost too addicted, can't stop playing with friends every time I get on. The way the missions are structured and how it affects the teamwork/immersion, it's just so god damn amazing. Tournament, nuff said. I never thought I'd be so immersed in CO-OP. :)

The frame rate never bothered me, as I'm playing on PC, and the glitches, while plentiful, barely affected my gameplay. At most, it gives me a chuckle.

As said, good job Alex Amancio. You delivered the best Assassin's Creed yet. It's not perfect, but it's so damn close. Please, PLEASE, do not change your course. Unity is every step in the right direction! Just fix your PR bull****, glitches/performance, and online crap then, you'll have the perfect AC.

the new direction is EXACTLY what i wanted from an AC Game.

Absolutely. This is the first AC game where i'm doing a lot of the side missions, with previous AC games I would go in and play the story and get out, the only things i used to do was the view point and chests. I felt the races, assassinations, feathers.. just felt like they are there to have just to fill space, they felt very boring and repetitive. But I love the new side missions, and now i'm only doing the main story just to unlock certain skills so i can go do more side stuff.. I love it..

Even Co-Op and even though I havent played with anyone and mainly do them alone (I'm not good at playing with other kids lol) they are great, and become quite difficult when doing them alone, to say something is difficult in an AC game is definitely new..

Agreed. I came here and saw the thread about "missing features" and couldn't help but scratch my head. I mean, when I buy it again i'll probably make a thread about a list of NPC behaviors. Good god, there's a lot of them. That said, I completely agree with you both about the direction this game took.

People are complaining about removed things like hidden blade combat and whistling but overlook what was altered to the formula. The removal of those was necessary, this is not the same AC game. You can't call a guard to your spot, you can make them look the other way and either pass by or kill them from behind, or just disguise and move quickly.
It was super fun messing with the guards while disguised. They'd be pretty subtle if you pass by them dressed as one of them and they'd follow you and you can kill them from a hiding spot.
Combat is VERY challenging and you can choose to leave it challenging. OF COURSE if you upgrade it'll be easier, how can people complain about that? Challenge is actually a possibility now.

There's A LOT of side missions and ALL of them are meaty and not just some tacked on fluff in the last minute like AC III's delivery, courier and assassinations. Each piece of side mission strand has its own introduction and is not just thrown at the player. The murder mysteries are very fun mental puzzles, the Brotherhood missions are sooooooo fun and challenging when done solo, the Paris stories can be boring with regular, uninspired AC gameplay like escort and stuff but it's fun most of the time.

Definitely my favorite AC so far and i can't wait to continue playing it again.

Hear, hear! Although I'm not far enough to rate the story yet, the gameplay and all the improvements, great and small, are making ACU a strong contender for my favorite AC of all time.

Thus far my two favorites have been AC1 and ACB. AC1 had the advantage of its graphics (still better than any of its sequels until ACU) and its immersion. ACB had the advantage of its wealth of side content, fun combat and multiplayer. Now Unity has brought the graphics to a whole new level, and while still not quite as atmospheric as AC1, the immersion is still good enough (I'd say AC2 level). It also has at least as much content as ACB, probably a lot more. And while ACB's multiplayer is dead, making part of the game entirely obsolete, ACU's co-op missions can be done solo which means they will not become obsolete as soon as other players get bored and move on.

For once the game doesn't feel like just a slight graphics update with the same recycled content. They've changed or updated everything, from the loading screens to the white room confessions to crowd interaction and so forth. While not everyone will approve of all the changes, I do believe these changes are better for the future of the franchise as the game feels fresh in almost every aspect. Instead of trying to distract players by piling on new features on top of old, broken ones, the devs have actually listened to fans on core issues like combat, character progression and stealth. The game stays true to the best aspects of AC while updating the bits that were starting to feel a bit stale. They've even brought back some great features from AC1 that should never have been discarded, like the ability to perform a ground execution with the hidden blade.

Technical problems and Uplay/Initiates/companion app crap aside, I haven't been this satisfied with an AC game since ACB, four years ago.

It's tied with AC4 as the best in the series so far for me, but that's only because of AC4's incredible story. It nails improving on the core pillars of the franchise, and they managed to discard AC4's sailing and the traditional assassination contracts while still having great side-missions. Murder mysteries are awesome, everything is awesome. I've only played a handful of co-op missions, but I plan to finish them all solo now that I've beaten the game.

Protest, mate. The frame rate dipped way below 20 at times and the clutter of online features was annoying. I have been following Ubisoft's live feed about patches and so far, they'v been working hard. If they manage to fix SOMETHING, which looks like they will,(I can live with the online features because it's too good of a game and too much hard work for me to just throw it away over) i'll definitely buy it again.

Overlooking the frame rate and online features, it's a my favorite game so far. It's confusing, I know, I see some people bashing it because its story was subpar or because something's missing but i can judge everything separately.

Quite possibly the best female arm hair has ever been rendered in Assassin's Creed, all in stunning 1440p!

For me, the co-op was pretty fun, and the combat is a nice challenge

but the stealth system is just too unreliable (especially with the unclear cover mechanic) and the story too unoriginal and (in the end) pointless for me to say it's a good installment in the franchise.

I marked it as my least fav AC probably because I'm venting and will appreciate aspects of it later, but it is missing what I love most about the franchise. And thats story/characters.

I Really disagree with you, i don't know why but i love the story & Characters it feels so AC to me and going back to its roots. We finally have a proper Assassins council which you can visit whenever and i love that. Pierre was an amazing character same with few others Napoleon, Elise etc. Yeah it's not the best story in the world but it feels like its going on the right track. It feels like I'm playing an Assassins Creed game not a game learning about unnecessary characters that have nothing to do with the AC story arc.

I Also get a strong feeling that Arno will be like wine and will get better by age and I'm 80% sure we will get a sequel with him next year, which will make people like him a lot more & it will be interesting to see if he becomes a more Dark Assassin in the next game. A Transformation like that to Arno will really attract the audience.

Personally I hope the age of sequels with existing AC characters is over. Since Unity is supposed to be a fresh start, they should do what was planned for the series from the start: new game = new assassin = new time period. I really hope the next game will make a big jump in history or at least in location, like Asia.

Pierre was bland

We hardly spent anytime with him so his death hardly had any impact. He was a predictable 'traitor' too.

Elise turned out to be just another revenge-driven bloke with no charm to her whatsoever.

Napoleon was just....there....

We hardly spent time with any of the 2 characters that Arno actually cared about before they were killed off for the sake of feels.

But I do think Arno will be better in the Dead Kings DLC

Ah, i'm not sure that is a good idea, a new Assassins every year will make us not appreciate the Assassins like we do with Ezio. I Think it will get to a point were we will get no legendary assassins anymore if that was to happen. We need a game now like Ezios series & i think Arno has the potential.

I Think the perfect game would be next year is that we get to play as Aveline, Connor & Arno in a 3 way style like GTA V. We can explore a new country (I'm thinking England) as well as france and it would be interesting to see if all these assassins goals are the same.

I disagree with you there. AC:U's stealth is fantastic. It especially shines the most in CO-OP. I love it when people synchronize by throwing a smoke bomb and just assassinating everyone in the room. Or when a partner circles around and takes care of a rooftop guard for you. One of my favorite moment was having my friend distract the guards in a room with a cherry bomb while I lock-picked a door, walked right in, assassinate the target, and walked right out.

And speaking of which, social stealth was surprisingly good in CO-OP. I never expected it to be implemented, let alone decent. The crowds really does enhance the gameplay, allowing you to stalk and pitpocket targets. This game is orgasmic.

Regarding the story, I'll agree to some degree. It lacks in comparison to the Kenway Saga, but it's still a step up from the Ezio Trilogy.

I am glad to see a thread like this pop up here. I am really loving the game. Sure it has it's issues but all and all this is, the more I play it, shaping up to be my favorite AC yet. Yeah they took some stuff out, like frontier hunting, naval, and horse riding (not 100% on that last part but I haven't seen any horse that I can ride yet. XD) but a lot of that stuff wouldn't fit well in this game. I like that the story doesn't focus too much on the history and that it stays focused on the characters. Sure it would be nice for some of the historical figures to be fleshed out a bit more, but it doesn't detract from my enjoyment of it at all.

I think Arno is a very likeable character who resembles Ezio, SLIGHTLY, but is a bit more innocent in my opinion. Also, his sense of wit differs from Ezio's. I like the love story so far, even if it is a bit cliche.

I love the new parkour system now that I have gotten the hang of it. (holding the "O" button works wonders! XD) The battle system is much more satisfying for me now that I actually have to pay attention to my surroundings and TIME my moves. The stealth system does need a few patches, but I am loving it still. It has only let me down in one mission so far, but it was easy enough to find a new hiding spot and start again. :D

The graphics in this game are just amazing! The people all have very realistic expressions and detail in their faces, the game world is so very well done and the "near 1 to1" scale makes it all the better. Being able to enter so many buildings and also go underground adds a sense of immersion that I have craved from the AC games. My only complaint really visually (aside from the FPS which is being worked on) is the day/night cycle. I kinda wish it was the traditional, morning till night system we all know, but being able to switch the time of day whenever is fine too. (Though I wish they would make the night sky just a bit darker in a patch or something.) Meh, a very minor issue.

I love the character customization in both skills and gear. I am happy that you can renovate buildings all over the city again, like in ACB.

But my favorite part about this game is the setting! I have been wanting an AC game to take place in Paris since the first game was announced and they have done such a wonderful job recreating it here! Once the bugs are worked out in this game, it will be a wonderful step for AC into next gen.

I can't really comment on the story because I haven't finished it yet, and I also can't comment on the co-op because I'm a victim of 0x60000001 but what I can say is that I love all the side missions so far. I'm really enjoying figuring out the Nostradamus enigmas, even though there are some that are too obscure and counterintuitive to figure out without a guide (I'm looking at you, Venus final riddle! How does that even remotely describe the building you're supposed to get to?) I'm also liking the Paris stories, even though I haven't done very many yet. My favorite though are the Murder Mysteries. So cool to be running around people's houses investigating clues and then trying to figure out whodunit. They can be tricky, though sometimes unfairly so (like two people will suddenly turn out to be siblings giving a whole new person a motive to be the killer and you don't know this until you've accused that person).

I've also seen my share of bugs. Once I ended up inside a house I wasn't supposed to be in (being able to see through the walls was a dead giveaway xD also I couldn't get out) but fast travel fixed that. And just now the Sainte Chappelle glitched out on me in a spectacular way. It made me laugh more than anything else, really. XD I recorded some of it over here. (http://www.twitch.tv/spiritmuse/b/589712613) Craziness.

So, yeah, I'm pretty aware that the game has it's technical issues, and I'm somewhat unhappy that I can't play co-op, but overall I'm giving it a big thumbs up. d:)b

Gameplay-wise, I'm sure Unity is fun. Not knocking that.

Story and Characters? >_>

Here is why:

Arno was trying too hard to be another Ezio, and his overall story and personality was so unoriginal and boring to me.

Elise was also disappointing...

First she's a one track record about revenge, and she doesn't seem to grow as a character because Arno had to have his life lesson and ****.
( She's pretty much AC2 Ezio if he didn't get Brotherhood & Revelations.)

Not to mention Ubi decided to give her the death that EVERYONE saw coming.

I didn't care about their love story as that felt very cliche and uninspiring.

And speaking of cliche and uninspiring, how about the Templars in this game? A major step back compared to the previous games.

-Mustache twirling motives? Check.
- Predictable Conspiracy? Check.
-Player has to little to no sympathy or fulfillment in killing them? Check.

( Lack of White Room speeches didn't help either -__- )

The Council wasn't in the slightest interesting, all they did was discuss politics and about their "peace" with the Templars.
(Which they never went into btw)

Pierre was great as a character, but his betrayal was so predictable, with Arno showing ZERO emotion in killing him. Just a waste.

And I'm guessing his betrayal meant nothing because no one mentioned it? Like really? Ever?

Germain was weak as a villain...
( Again? We're back at that format?)

He didn't give any reasons to care for him as a character nor did I care about the chase for him or his death. And aren't the sages like neither Assassin or Templar? Then why the **** is he a grandmaster!?
It made no sense.

They never went into the sword of Eden or its significance to overall plot and narrative...which made it pointless.

The ending was so anticlimactic with hardly any relevance to MD or the Juno plot....they especially made that clear when Bishop came and chimed about how we didn't need the sages body because it was decayed.

Then what was the point of this story!?

Okay, Rant over. :)

And some notable gripes I had:
- FR hardly impacts the story whatsoever.
-Lack of Historical Figures
-Who the hell were leaving the glyphs? Desmond? Clay? Someone new?
-What happened to the corrupted brotherhood plot?
-How did Mirabeau and De la sierre make Temporary peace?
- So I guess Arno doesn't care who killed his father?

Yes. The day I got the game I spent almost the entire day playing (freeroaming) and time of day slowly changed from day to night. It's a very long cycle though, probably between 6-12 hours, so it's no wonder most people will miss it. Doing story missions probably disrupts the cycle.

Just finished the game tonight. I was trying to pace myself and space out the story completely around all the side missions, but I hit a point in the story where I just wanted to carry on and see that, so I have a few side missions to go back and do.

I loved this game. This is what I hoped AC could be like one day, but I wasn't sure if they'd manage it. The main assassination missions are so good now, especially the parties at the biggest mansions. The way the crowd works has the occasional hiccup, but it's transformed the experience of running away from danger and added some more new gameplay in the way you use the crowd (as a bullet/line of sight shield, in essence). I keep hearing people complaining that there's no variety in the crowd NPCs, which puzzles me. I see whole distinct cultures from place to place, different fashions, different random activities and behaviours. There are some late missions where the biggest crowds appear, and if I hadn't already been sold on the large crowds then that would certainly have done it.

Lots of people are praising the graphics, and they should, but the light technology was particularly good in this one (skies and environmental lighting). I played on PC with everything maxed and all the NViidia features on, and if this is the standard now then I'm very happy with that.

I really enjoyed the co-op, too. It changes everything to be working together with other people, and I like the scale of the missions that goes with them.

Yes, I can confirm this too. The daylight breaking over the horizon is so well done. Night time is correctly dark and still playable. They've got some very clever people working on all aspects, but especially the lighting.

Good news, the new patch will fix cover-mechanic issues, and NPC behaviors. Now, citizens should effectively accuse you to the guards when it permits.

Yes. The day I got the game I spent almost the entire day playing (freeroaming) and time of day slowly changed from day to night. It's a very long cycle though, probably between 6-12 hours, so it's no wonder most people will miss it. Doing story missions probably disrupts the cycle.

I was wondering about this. I saw the IGN stream and I thought I saw the time of day change slightly.

Nothing quite like solving murder mysteries in the gloom of night, with candles burning in windows and street lights glowing on foggy streets. :o Especially with that slightly ominous background music that always plays during murder investigations.

Sounds awesome! After I'm done with Rogue I'll be able to enjoy the splendor of Paris.

Good news, the new patch will fix cover-mechanic issues, and NPC behaviors. Now, citizens should effectively accuse you to the guards when it permits.

Sounds pretty good to me. Hopefully the game will be pretty ironed out by the time I get to it. I feel confident in the decision I made of which to play first.

Awesome. That would mean the only major gripe left I have is the story.

The day/night cycle still exists like in the old games, it just takes a lot longer. Like, several hours longer. I don't know why the devs claimed time of day was fixed to missions.

I was actually noticing when I was play today having set the day time to morning, that the sky was changing. I have noticed weather change in game too but the sky was getting lighter. That is nice to hear though. I guess I will set my game to night when I play next and see how dark it gets then. :D Thanx for the info.

Glad to see people are agreeing with me. About to play sequence 10 can't wait to complete this game.

Btw did anyone else think the beginning mission we did in medieval france was AMAZING. That setting felt amazing for an AC game.

Was wandering around the Cafe Theatre, turns out if you linger close to a second story ledge, Arno will automatically walk to the railing and lean on it, overlooking the street. It gave me a great view of a mugging on the bridge. :p

are you serious?

I've noticed it too. It's a real slow cycle though. If you're in Cafe theatre visit the dining room and take a look at painting! Arno looks like a real connaisseur then!

If thats the balcony from Arno's room, thats for an achievement if you didn't already know :)

Also I really liked this game, most big games like this are filled with a good few bugs ( Fallout + Elder Scrolls ) and those are loved by people, most of it I believe is hate for Ubi at the moment

I can agree with stuff like Uplay, Initiates, companion app and microtransactions shouldn't be there or that big of a deal in the game, but hopefully they scale that back in the next game

I am playing this game and feels that it is the best after AC 2. Paris is huge filled with eye opening buildings and lots of things to do.

This is it right here, couldn't have agreed more. #LovingACUnity

Game has delivered on all the promises....loving the game and cannot put it down.
Paris is amazing, packed full of things to do and see, I could go on for ages and ages about the things I love.
Parkour is awesome, I love to freerun with Arno.....combat tweaks are cool to, feels a bit more like a natural fighting system. Crouch is neat too and of course customisation.....
Every thing I wanted in an AC since AC2 game is in Unity.

Thanks Ubi!!!!

#LovingACUnity as well! I haven't seen parkour done better in any previous games, the actual story is OK, nothing awesome but everything else is just beyond what I ever imagined. Variety of side missions of type we never had before, attention to details... the character's outfit choices are amazing... Did anyone notice how many different sounds we have per each person we stumble over while free running? details, details details!

didn't finished
but.. lets see, i said alot what sucks, but what i praise?

Arno is cool, no brainer here
His background history is meh because of Ezio
His "friendship" with Eliza is cool too
The city is awesome and the settings too, i like every district
i loved nostradamus enigmas
i loved the character customization
coop when working, is pretty fun to play and need to be more explored for future AC
we need more helix missions, the one in WWII was great, but too short
the boss battle of ch7-3 is one of the best

I agree with you.!! This really is a great game.. Yes there are some bugs and issues still but the game hasn't even been out for a month yet. I have also seen upwards of 20 threads solely dedicated to hating and trashing ACU.. Its good to see that not everyone gets on to game forums to piss and moan about the smallest of things... two thumbs up bro..! :) :)

So far I'm really loving Unity, and once those hiccups have been batched the game has a lot of potential to be the best AC in my book.

There are actually several areas in the house and cafe theatre that arno interact with.

In the theatre if you approach the barista arno picks up a cup of coffee and watches the stage, if you approach the stage he will stand and watch the show.

If you approach the paintings in the house he will stand there and study them.. and like you mentioned the balcony, not sure if there are other things, but these little things just add to the fun and the detail of the game.

There is no day/night time as such but there is day/night lighting which makes it quite random. Its more related to the weather system than an in game timing, so it could get so overcast that it becomes pitch black, I spent several hours in the dark yesterday and i seriously couldnt see much i relayed heavily on eagle sense. It did change when i used fast travel.

Which brings me to my favourite part of the game and that is the lighting/weather system, its amazing.. after a massive storm the clouds where clearing and the city had a yellow glow over.. It was beautiful.. or when its overcast and can see the Fog over the river.. The game is just beautiful...

Unity has won the second highest spot on my (obviously prestigious :P) personal rankings of AC games, right behind Black Flag.
I love the new parkour, the RPG elements, even the story (though I wish it was a bit less predictable). Honestly, I saw a few frame rate hiccups here and there, but only a handful of times. I feel sorry for those of you who let such a petty thing ruin such an incredible experience.

I was really hoping that the series would move out of the 1700s/1800s territory next year, but now... meh, I wouldn't mind an Arno sequel.

I've been playing Rogue and i'm on sequence 5 now and it's soooooooooooooo boring and bland compared to unity.

Even the story can't excite me (I Mainly play AC because of the story btw) :(.

Just feels like such a basic rushed game with no purpose for some reason (i hope the surprising ending gives me relief that its a decent though).

I think unity has improved everything so much it's hard for me to play past AC's now this ''next-gen'' stuff really makes a HUGE difference.

I agree with all those that love this game. I feel it has been well worth the Collectors Edition price I paid, and also you got a lot of content just normally. So much to do sometimes it's overwhelming... but don't change that. The only reason I ever puchased my Xbox 360 and my PS4... fyi I do prefer my PS4, is because of Assassin's creed. Honestly it's basically the only game I play for longer periods of time than even noted as how many hours. If you tell me it will take 100 hours, heck I'm playing for much more than that and for more times. I do feel playing this the second time around... when I ever get to, I will experience it in a totally new way. So much to see. Each time I keep hitting a view point.. I can't believe how big the area is and all to do.

Ubisoft needs to keep going this way, period. Love the parkour... up and down is awesome and more fluid. I actually feel like an assassin's this time. For me there have only been a few hiccups. But really in the scheme of things the complaints are obsurd compared to all the other good things about the game. Some people have to complain about something because they just want to complain. Others complain because they feel they must follow others complaining. And some complain and haven't even played the game or only part of it.

I think the ones that complain the most believe they are the end all believe all critics of video games and to them they need to see how fast they can get through a game more so than enjoying all that it is. FYI folks, no Assassin's Creed game was about how fast you could get through it and get 100%... the games are about the journey... not the finish so much. Enjoy the ride, it's there if you bother to ind it.

Arno is the best since Ezio and I'm glad about that. I love the addition of Elise, a love story to the game, it feels right to give the protaganist more than a fleeting love interest. And someone like Elise is pretty awesome. Would like to see the story from Elise's side in her own game. I see her as a pretty good equal to Arno.

I also gotta say Arno is ruthless and ya know, he takes no prisoners in his fight. Maybe he is not Altair, which that game was good for it's time... but boring after awhile. Altair was a brat and no real depth. Maybe if they did a new story fro Altai, maybe we could see who he really was on a deeper level. Everyone cries about Desmond, he gave us Ezio...but his memories also can take us other places yet. Remeber they have a few different Subjects they are pulling from for the fact that we are now Abstergo employees discovering and not the actual subject. I think that's what people keeps forgetting in all of this... the employee aspect. I love that setup more in Unity than I liked it in Black Flag... I loved Black Flag also because it showed the potential for the next-gen. Now Unity shows us more for a REAL next-gent game. There are bound to be hiccups, don't get your undies in a bundle. I can only image the next time around should be really good.

All the issues people have with Ubisoft just wanting money... fyi folks... ALL business's are looking to make money, it's not a charity. To bring games like this to everyone take a lot of resources. If they did employee some of the top talent in the business NO game, NO game would be even close to what you see in AC, GTA etc. It's entertainment folks, not real life. Give them a break.

I could go on but I won't. Ubisoft the whole game is great in the scheme of things. Of course there needs to be refinement etc, but I sure hope people change their complaints to amazement at what you created. But then again, people will always complain because the world seems to have many more negative people lately than positive and that's sad. Also the complainers just like to listen to themselves complain and obviously have bigger months. Sometimes the wisest person in the middle of a revolution is the silent one that carries the bigger stick and uses it only when there is a need.

Good job guys! :)

I just think Unity is all about interest. I mean, I've never been as much interested and captivated by the secondary and tertiary missions, as I'm now. I'm still stuck on Sequence 4, if you can believe it. So much to do, and above all else, everything is so interesting and addictive. In previous AC games, there was also plenty to do, that was never the problem, but it was all so forced and boring. Now, it just isn't. There isn't much more to say about that. I'm literally #LovingACUnity, and I'm predicting I'll love it even more after the third (huge) update to arrive this week. :p

To me, this is definitely the best game in the series at being an Assassin's Creed game. They pretty much took what the first game tried to do and did it, mostly, right. The parkour, stealth and combat systems are the best in the series in my opinion. My only problems with the gameplay are the lack of body hiding, whistling and guards not becoming suspicious when finding a dead body. The story, while enjoyable, could have used some more fleshing out and it isn't quite as morally gray as I would have liked it to be. I would also have liked them to explore Arno's relationship with the Brotherhood more.
When he was exiled, it was obvious that he wanted to be a part of the Brotherhood, but some more explanation of his view of the Creed would have been great

Overall, this is probably my favorite game in the series, along with AC1 and 4.

I do hope that we at some point get a game with a perfected version of Unity's overall gameplay and a story that's more about the Brotherhood with a dedicated main character more like Alta´r.

i Would really love a Sequel with Arno next year where he seeks revenge in regards of his real father dying (which some of you may know by now) with the help of Connor & Aveline.

I Know some people really want an AC set in Asia now and TRUST me so do i but now I'm attached to Arno's story i don't wanna say bye to him just yet i think he has another game in him.
