Hi there so i thought id just share my settings because im getting great FPS and the game still looks amazing and my computer pretty much only meets the minimum requirements..
My PC Specs:
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-3570k CPU @ 3.4GHZ
RAM: 8 GB
Video Card: GeForce GTX 670
DorectX 11

Best settings iv found for pretty great performance and makes the game still looks really gorgeous:
Environment Quality - Medium
Texture Quality - High
Shadow Quality - Low
Ambient Occlusion - SSAO
Anti-Aliasing - FXAA
Bloom - Off

Hope this can help some of you guys out there if you need it.

GTX 660. Still pretty laggy at lowest settings.

Ran AC 3 on ultra. The difference is not that huge.

Almost identical rig!

My PC Specs:
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-3570k CPU @ 3.4GHZ
RAM: 8 GB
Video Card: GeForce GTX 680
DirectX 11

Can confirm this works, changed my frame rate from 20-30 to 30-45.

Having the environment on medium and the bloom off niggles at me but the textures are still nice and it is a very good looking game.

I hope Ubi optimises because struggling on High for a GTX 680 is ridiculous..

3570k + 7870 after 1,2 patch. Awful performance in any configuration. 20-30 fps with drops.

This config does improve performance... thanks a lot... But I feel still there are too many NPC's to my liking

The framerate barely changes whether I have the environment and textures on ultra or not, even on low the game runs like crap.

you should be getting better than that. Reset NVidia control panel to defaults, and undo any overclocking, update drivers as well.

you've got other system problems if that is the case with the game.

The game plays at or around 60 for the majority of play but every couple of minutes it seems to drop my FPS to the 20-30 range.
i have never had any issues with my OC before but ill reset and try to see if itll help stop the drops

With i5 4670 @ 3.6GHz, 8GB DDR3 RAM 1333MHz, Sapphire R9 280X, the game runs for around 15~16 fps average.

And that's on 720p with every settings lowered to rock bottom.

I can't believe I wasted $59.99 for a software that I can't even run properly without spending extra $400 for another incremental GPU upgrade.

Interesting, for people with Nvidia cards, which driver version do you use? I have an MSI GTX 980 Gaming using driver version 344.16 (not the latest version) and I can max out the game at 1080p without performance problems. I didn't use a performance counter so I don't know exactly how many frames per second I get (definitely less than 60, but above 30), but I'm not seeing any stutters or noticeable drops in performance at any point during the game.

I've heard bad things about the latest Nvidia drivers, so perhaps using an older driver version could help.

My PC Specs:
Intel 3570k @ 4.2 GHz
7970 GHz edition overclocked (don't remember what clock speed, not at home atm)
8 GB RAM (generic stuff, not trying to win any benchmark competitions)

All settings on High, Bloom off, SSAO, FXAA, haven't seen it dip below 50 fps except once when I was trying to climb the stained glass inside some church, fps dropped for about 2 or 3 seconds

In AMD cards runs like ****.

sad but true. my 280 cant run the center districs on more than 30. always below.
and changing settings dont matter. changing things from high to low can grant and extra 3 or 4 frames, so i can go from utter cr@p to just cr@p.

at least SOME districts run better, like the southern part of paris.

Here is how i run it:

My rig:

GTX 660
I5-3570K @ 3.40 GHz
8gb ram

Game settings (these where the standart or auto settings, i never changed them, like "never touch a running system"):

1920x1080
Graphic Quality: High
VSync: On

Environment Quality: High
Texture Quality: High
Shadow Quality: High
Ambient Occlusion: SSAO
Anti-Aliasing: MSAA-2x
Bloom: On

It runs very well with no major problems.

The recommended settings from Geforce Experience are everything off and low plus a 1360x768 resolution, thats just ridiculous.

I have pretty much the exact same setup and it runs very well on High. I have a crap monitor that only offers 1280x1024 resolution so I can run on Ultra at 20-30 FPS.

Geforce Experience doesn't recognize the GTX 660 since it's not supported for this game and puts every setting to its lowest.
