sorry to ask again to the 6 of you who replied, thread took a dump? never saw your responses.

So I can't seem to find a view in some of the older Russian aircraft which will allow visualization of the compass. I've got a nice Radeon 3D card, great graphics, just can't seem to know where I'm going......

Your other thread is at http://forums.ubi.com/messages/message_view-topic.asp?name=us_il2sturmovik_gd&id=zekkz

As stated there, in many of the earlier Russian aircraft your view of the compass is obscured by other fittings. The only solution seems to be to leave the speed bar display enabled.

if you miss an old thread, just use the search field at the bottom of the page. Search for the thread name( but if its an common used word it wont show) so you should instead search for your name. then all your posts will come up

thanks for reply, I am a neophyte computer user so lost the other thread.....
what a truly fabulous sim
I was in grade school when the first MS Flight sim came out for my Commodore 64, now even more blown away.
Can't wait to get a track IR, CH-rudder pedals and throttle.
Thanks
Andrew
