This series was epic and there should be more PC players being drawn here.

I believe this RB6 Siege forum, will become more active, once we receive more complete information, for this new Rainbow6 game from UbiSoft. At this time... UbiSoft is keeping any real in depth intel off the internet on RB6 Siege and how the game will work, since RB6 Siege is still in it's Alpha development phase. Siege releases sometime in 2015.

Depending on how RB6 Siege game play is developed... Siege may be just a small Next-Gen, PC game with a campaign, Co-op and limited Multiplayer. If so... RB6 Siege's popularity will last several months and go into game history, as the last Rainbow6 game ever to be made.

On the other hand... If Siege is developed, for the largest multiplayer audience possible and the scope of this new game goes well beyond many of the past RB6 games, with a larger group experience, with support for online Clans, online competitions and Tournaments... then RB6 Siege, could be the best Rainbow6 game ever produced and have a very bright future for Next-Gen and PC gaming.

At this point... it's all up to UbiSoft. We are giving UbiSoft our suggestions and opinions in this forum... trying to help UbiSoft's developers... as to how Siege should be developed, giving RB6 Siege it's best chance to shine against it's stiff game competition in 2015 and beyond.

But to be honest... so far from what I've read in these forums, from our official UbiSoft Forum moderators and some of RB6's players as of today... I'm very worried this could be the last Rainbow6 game we will ever see. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope so too.... I only play campaigns but I enjoyed the rainbow series immensely (and Swat) and when I heard about Siege it was fantastic news. I hope and expect, Ubi will give it the attention it deserves.

I just want to shoot people through floors. Active forums or otherwise. Is that so much to ask?

I think that is humor and sarcasm... referencing to the outstanding built in quality of Battlefield 4... to achieve enemy kills through walls and behind cover. So your enemy has no place to hide!! It's often used and it's a BIG help to boost one's K/D standing. We can always depend on DICE... to give their customers, new ways to play their games!! It's a very useful tactic to use when getting that win for your........ team.

The classic old SOCOM games from Zipper, back at the dawn of video game history... had some of the same handy BF4 built in user benefits. But for some unknown reason... Zipper somehow eliminated these useful built in refinements from the user's bag of tricks. But of course... Zipper is now out of the business of making video games, so... that must be the reason why!!

Just for the Hell of it.... here's an old SOCOM game video! For those kids reading this, that don't have a clue about that old SOCOM game. God I miss that game! But that old DVD game disk of mine, makes a great frizbi for my kids. But alas.... that old game disk can't go through walls. http://www.01gifs.com/smileys/colere/4.gif That glitch must have been fixed too.

Gosh... this old video brings a tear to my eye. http://www.01gifs.com/smileys/triste/2.gif My Clan and I have spent hundreds and hundreds of all night sessions, into the wee hours of the morning, playing SOCOM!! Just imagine... bullets going where you shoot them, when you shoot them!! Playing as real Navy SEAL teams with real mic communications! What a concept!
Someone... take me Back to the Future!! http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/avatars/custom/avatar-8789.jpg

Maybe soon... Rainbow6 Siege will do the same for us!

It will come active once we get a release date.

Also 6v6 online matches would be enough when trying to rescue a hostage, no? More? Less?

Other game modes could have 8v8 maybe? You don't need a lot of players running around to make it great...

I though Ghost Future Soldier was good online when they got it up and running..
