So far we've had some sort of evidence that we will see Shay in some first civ places but what about Arno?

The writings we see on the wall in the trailer give me some hope that we most defo will.

if so where do you think these ruins will be located?

Thoughts?

Notre Dame was constructed above the roman Temple of Jupiter, which at the same time, replaced an elder celt shrine, who knows......

Besides... There are some rumours about a sword of eden....

Yeah the piece of eden will most definitely be the Sword of eden in this game.

It would be super cool after you complete the game you get to use it.

Who knows why we may use it? Only thing that can stop Juno? hmm.

Juno favours a spear, which has more reach... so we might be in trouble.

yeah the sword will probably be the POE for unity

and also the temple of juno is a major hint?

p.s where does it show Shay in First Civ ruins

@Radman500 Nah, I don't think it's a hint. I'm just guessing that Juno's weapon of choice is a spear (which might also be a PoE).

Personally, after reading Brahman and noting the theme of the game being UNITY, the Piece of Eden is going to be something quite unique and may or may not have anything do with a vault.

In Brahman, the piece of Eden is the Koh-I-Noor diamond.

http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Koh-i-Noor

At the end of that comic, the Goddess Durga gives this message:

"We are one of many but essential to the unity of all. Splintered though we may appear within the limited notion of this moment, we exist as one, as we always have and always will. You have been fragmented, children, but know that you are also whole. Do not allow your concept of time to act as a paralyzing veil when the fate of all you hold dear rests in your hands. We speak through this vessel to you, this time and medium and anchor that we might commune. We must exist freely at all points for your race, our children, to exist and to remain free.

Now what would this, an Indian story set in the British Raj have to do with the Revolution(which happened 50 years and several landscapes away). Well the Koh-I-Noor diamond was carved out of a specific mine - the Kollur Mine which for centuries had supplied diamonds for royalty around the world. One diamond, was bought by a French traveller
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Baptiste_Tavernier

who sold it to King Louis XIV - The Sun King. This became part of the royal collection until disappearing during the French Revolution. Part of this diamond, the Tavernier French Blue Diamond became the HOPE DIAMOND
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hope_Diamond

One of the confirmed Templars is Germain, the Royal Silversmith. So the Piece of Eden will be the Diamond.

good find about the hope diamond, the problem about france is that we have to much mysteries to be explored in only one game.

the sword of eden from joan of arc
the shroud from jacques demolay
the philosofer stone from flamel(and his tomb is found mysteryous empity in project legacy)

and arno's pocket watch that obviusly is not normal,(it shine a mysteryous blue light like we see in the prison training trailer if you pause in the correct time.)

I’d do anything for something like that. First Civ. is my favorite part of the games!

This is a perfect opportunity to show the Sword of Eden. It would be very interesting to see its powers and what it can do beside slaying every living thing on the planet, haha. I wonder if we’ll ever find a P.O.E. in the shape of a gun/pistol. There was some sort pistol wielded by Jupiter in ACIII modern day. I wonder if anyone came to posses something like that, from the human race.

The developers have said multiple times that the Modern day story is a bit of a reboot, and will be taken slowly (like AC1, I assume). Something tells me that, also like AC1, we'll get some First Civ stuff, but it will be more mysterious and left for the end of the game.

another interesting thing about the Koh-I-Noor diamond is not that its the most powerful POE, can control all other POE

but it can only be used/commanded by women...

*cough cough* Eve's descendant *cough cough*

Something even more interesting. (This is straight from reddit user btw)

The name Élise is a diminutive form of the French name Élisabeth, meaning "God's promise". Meanwhile, Élise's family name comes from the French Serre, meaning "talon" or "greenhouse", while de la, "from the", indicates nobility.

Gods Promise = Eve

Greenhouse = Eden

de la = of the

Elise de la Serre = Eve of Eden

There's also the initials Arno and Elise - Adam and Eve.

Oh man, I'm kind of surprised I haven't gotten that yet.
Though, in all fairness, most protagonists in this series have had either "A" or "E" names... Altair, Ezio, Edward, Adewale, Aveline...

The place Shay appear in the artwork can be the bermuda triangle(it is in atlantic north by the legend) that is foreshadowing in one of the hacks of black flag.

I wonder if that was their theme, you know Adam and Eve are the first rebels so common Assassin heroes will be A and E...though in III you had Haytham(well, H is still A sounding so) and then Connor/Ratonhake;ton and in Rogue you have Shay Patrick Cormac.

Of course, Arno, like Altair, Ezio, Aveline and Haytham all have bird themes, eagle names and flight. Whereas Connor, Edward, Adewale and Elise don't have that particular motif.

The First Civilization collapsed because of a revolution led by Eve and that revolution resulted in the first divisions between Assassins and Templars via Cain will have a lot to do with the French Revolution, where de-Christianization was a major theme, or maybe Eve is not important, just a red-herring plot device they're keeping in case they need to use it.

No, he'll just have yoga sessions with Elise in a dark cave...
