I just noticed myShadow of Mordor updated and it was Photo mode... to be honest I usually just use fraps or take a screen snapshot and edit the picture at a later time. But Photo Mode does it in the game with the option to rotate the scene to the perfect view and add filters FOV etc... which is great. I don't have to try and get my characters into the perfect position to get the picture I want, I just pause and move the camera.

I hope Ubi look at this and think of including something similar in their games. It really makes it that little bit more personal to your desktop wallpaper when you've created your own scene :D

Anyone else used it or have an idea for something they'd like included ?

Not used it yet, but love that they added it.

it's great. I wish Ubi would incorporate something similar so I could make some great desktop wallpapers

There are some great places in AC4, AC3 and AC revelations that would be brilliant as a wallpaper.

Great picture Mnemonic :D That shows everything.... a nice level of FOV, overlay, camera positioned to an angle gamers do not experience, a vignette, desaturation etc... it's all there. Wish I could do that in the AC series.

Thanks! I wished I had made Talion a bit more visible in the photo, but those that play know where he is and what he's doing!

And I totally agree. Assassin's Creed should blatantly copy this, and I wouldn't care!

It would be pretty cool. Hope more games start using it.

Honestly the only think I think they need to implement is a borderless windowed mode. Didn't notice one in Black Flag and I prefer it so much to full screen.

I think there's a 3rd party program that does that.... I think it's called winexp but I guess having that included in the options would be nice.

No I like the white spectral image of him in the background hurtling down on to his unaware victim.... you entered photo mode at the perfect time.
