I just wonder if it's difficult to add some keys to adjusting the seat. It's fine in old Jane's WWII Fighers.

I think it will improve the view much better.

Put lots of fluffy absorbant material on your seat you can see over the monitor better and you can dogfight much longer. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

I wish they would take the best apects of other flight sims and add them into fb. I dont think the seat adjustment is possible seeing how the fish eye lens clips thru the walls of the cockpits in certain aircraft.

Its definatly needed maybe they will ad it to BOB

There's not much point in adjusting seat high for normal flight as it would mess up the gun sight line (think of the IL-2 seat position as pre-adjusted. However it is would be realistic for takeoff and landing with many aircraft. This will be especially so for the Corsair etc in the Pacific Fighters derivative of IL-2 being done by Luthier.

Hello,

The ability to adjust seats def would help, Probably not gonna help much in combat but I do believe it might be a quite appreciated ability when you trying to land while your windshield is full of oil.

It sure would help with the 9 and 3 o'clock views in the P-38. The window brace blocks the views now as it is.

If you turn off the gunsight view it would be nice if the seat would automatically adjust just a tad higher. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
Actually that could be a fix in itself.

Hey what about a seat warmer and a tape deck! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gif

What we need is not needlessly complicated controls to move the pilot by small increments (after all, this is not Lock On, the greatest among games with ridiculous and pointless controls; I mean, keyboard look fast?), but rather more than one set position. Currently, we have gunsight and normal positions. We need a taxiing position (one where the pilot is standing up in the cockpit or nearly doing so, perhaps even with the canopy open) and a rubbernecking position (one where the pilot turns halfway in his seat so that you can look directly behind you, like in real life).
