Just a thread to keep track of what people we will be running into as Arno.
So far we have confirmed

-Napoleon Bonaparte

-Marquis de Sade

-Louis XVI

-Marie Antoinette
couldn't find an AC concept or game model so courtesy of madame toussaud:

-Madame Tussaud

-Jean Baptiste Bernadotte(King Charles the XIV of Sweden)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_XIV_John_of_Sweden#mediaviewer/File:Jean-Baptiste-Jules_Bernadotte,_Prince_de_Ponte-Corvo,_roi_de_Su%C3%A8de,_Mar%C3%A9chal_de_France_ (1763-1844).jpg

Feel free to add any others I may have missed.....we could probably use a few pics(preferably in game pics) and brief bios. Speculation as to who else is welcome too(since apparently we will be seeing more figures than ever)

Sivert (Notre Dame demo target) was a real historical figure.

Sivert (Notre Dame demo target) was a real historical figure. Also concept art features Thomas Germain wearing a Templar ring

Cool could you post pics and maybe a breif 1 paragraph bio....or just the pics lol

People feel free to do this for the ones I've listed already too!

Sure, here he is:

I didn't wanna post cause of the ring thing which makes it a bit obvious for a spoiler. According to wiki he was a silversmith

Yes. His bio(rather short).
François Thomas Germain 1726-1791. The last royal silversmith. Broke Guild rules by creating things for financiers. Died out of the public eye in 1791.

Charles Gabriel Sébastien Sivert, Baron de l'Espérance (1 December 1725 – 5 January 1791) was a Brigadier general in the French military, the colonial governor of Saint Pierre and Miquelon before his retirement in 1789, and a member of the Templar Order, active during the French Revolution.

Fun fact he was born in Louisbourg Acadia(Modern day Nova Scotia Canada) which may likely be featured in its fameous battle of the. 7years war. Could Sivert have been there???

Georges Danton
from Wikipedia:

Danton was a leading figure in the early stages of the French Revolution and the first President of the Committee of Public Safety. Danton's role in the onset of the Revolution has been disputed; many historians describe him as "the chief force in the overthrow of the monarchy and the establishment of the First French Republic". A moderating influence on the Jacobins, he was guillotined by the advocates of revolutionary terror after accusations of venality and leniency to the enemies of the Revolution.

One of the trailers shows co-op mission "Danton's Sacrifice"

That image by the way is historically inaccurate. There's no way Danton would have been allowed to go to the gallows fully dressed in his complete render. He would be wearing the same white as his fellow inmates and with his real hair rather than the wig. The point of the executions was not to distinguish between criminals, political suspects, royalists or anyone. Even Marie Antoinette went to the gallows dressed like a scullion. And don't get me started on Robespierre standing on the street all smug...that didn't happen.

Other Historical Figures:
- Eugene Francois Vidocq - The real-life guy who inspired Balzac's Vautrin and Hugo's Jean Valjean.
He's there in the preview video that came out yesterday.

- Antoine Laurent de Lavoisier - Scientist. In the special missions.

- Thomas Paine - Imprisoned during the Terror by Robespierre with tacit support from the American ambassador. Also special missions.

- Dr. Guillotin - According to developer interviews.

- Thomas-Alexandre Dumas - The Assassin on Mirabeau's side. The father of the author. His son wrote many books inspired by his life including Count of Monte Cristo and Joseph Balsamo(about a conspiracy that plans to unleash the French Revolution from behind the scenes).

The one person I can't place is the lady in the room, I am sure she's historical - Madame Roland? Olympe de Gouges? Theroigne de Mericourt?

could you please tell me which preview the Vidocq info's from? I'm really interested in the whole murder mystery thing and so far I've just heard then saying it was inspired by his process.

@reptilis, thanks :)

Hey, can someone tell me if the King of Sweden mentioned in the first page was really confirmed? If so, that's very interesting! I assume it would be Gustave III, who was actually assassinated too! (And a fairly templarish figure ;D )

Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte

I think it was in this video?

10-08-2014, 10:57 PM
lets try to at least put up a picture of anybody we talk about here......so that I'm not a hypocrite I'm going to fix the OP with pics and possibly a few short bios if i have the time.

(in game picture is preferred, if not then concept art, if not then the last resort is historical paintings/wax figures)
