I for one am looking forward to PF I just hope it won't be too expensive. Theres a lot of variety there. Missions ranging from the Aluetian Islands down to Indonesia, taking off B25s from carriers and roasting japanese in their Baka bombs.
I saw that the Dutch along with the Austrailians are being included. Were there any Dutch carriers in the south Pacific that would be interesting I though all their aircraft were land based?

Another note on the kamikaze thing: In Europe the offer was on the table for Hitler to use manned versions of the Fi-103 for suicide missions but he turned the idea down. However, there was another Luftwaffe commander would in Feb. 1945 came up with the idea to take up 800 German planes and crash them in a large flight of B24s. It was totally voluntary and the idea was shunned so in the end only 130 planes took off and many were shot down before the reached the bombers. In the end about 14 or 15 B24s were lost. Maybe after the kamikaze thing is fine tuned in PF that would be a cool mission or patch addon for FB!

I'm treading lighting around the Atom Bomb topic, although its historical its a waste since its almost like using a cheat code as you can easily kill anything with it. Instead I was hoping to see the Shinden and the Jap version of the Me 163.

Oh and off all this stuff I'm getting off my chest I think my only complaint/critism is that I was reallyyyyy hoping that PF would/could be an optional add on to FB. Given it would be a Titanic sized add on but at least would could interchange some more and have fun with some new planes vs. old planes sort of thing. Like I said before I'd love to fly the Corsair inthe European theater where it did see limited action!

WHOS WITH ME!?

I am!

Watch this turn into a thread about political correctness, and "anti-bogotry". For those of you who want to contunie this thread along those lines here's a preemptive "shut-up"! This goes for you "OGM TEH ATOM BOMB IS TEH EVILLLL" people too. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif Try to stay sane.

darkhorizon, chose your words wisely, especially with nations references, very touchy subject.

Thanks.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

I'd prefer PF to be compatible with FB, but if it isn't, I'm not going to throw a fit about it.
