Yup, you have confirmed that both mixture and supercharger have auto settings. Good job! Auto settings are best for combat. Manual settings are good for fuel efficiency, so really no need for them in FB, since none of the maps even come close to the P-51s operational range.

But we should have the option of mix control and superchargers with the auto/manual button dont you agree ak davis?

p51d should have auto/manual mixture control & superchargers
p47 should have auto/manual stage superchargers
p40m should have auto/manual manual mix control

A.K. Davis you are like the Cliff Clavin of aircraft statistics

I'd settle for the mixture the way it was on the P-39, P-40 and P-47 in 1.0:

120% = Full Rich
100% = Auto Rich
80% = Auto Lean
0% = off

From what I understand most pilots used auto supercharger in Stang.

Leadspitter.

FB game limitation is you can have either Auto or Manual Supercharger. It would be nice to have both but since we cant Auto is more appropriate as this was the normal method of operation, other than in "Range" flying

Given that it would require MG to rewrite code (thus spending resources) so that both auto and manual supercharger and mix control could present in the same aircraft for absolutely no benefit in game, no I don't agree we should have the option.

also if you noticed with auto mix and auto superchargers you cant get them rpms up above 3500 there which is missing alot of the mustangs torque
