By your name I see the interest in this new weapon http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

It never fails to amaze me how much trouble the human race goes to manage a better way to kill ourselves and neibors http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Although I would of been if I was alive then and of correct age.

Idiotic weapon! Really. Who the hell needs this kind of firepower and rate of fire? Better to spend the money in cancer/HIV or space research.

A rather expensive way of commiting suicide...

"So when Diogenes perceived that he was greatly excited and quite keyed up in mind with expectancy, he toyed with him and pulled him about in the hope that somehow he might be moved from his pride and thirst for glory and be able to sober up a little. For he noticed that at one time he was delighted, and at another grieved at the same thing, and that his soul was as unsettled as the weather at the solstices when both rain and sunshine come from the very same source."

actually you could use this to clear mine fields to! I belive it can deliver a precise spread of heavier types of ordnance such as mortar shells or a combination. You could also 'so I hear' thanks to its precision ripple effect write your name on the side of a Jagdpanther.

Science gone mad woohooo Its Alive Its Alive mwuahahah

since it cannot be reloaded and only carries a very small amount of ammo it is not all that http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

And as far as mines are concerned it will never "deny" an area the same way a minefield does. When the enemy sees the metalstorm it can take it out but taking out a minefield that has both antitank and antipersonnel mines is impossible under battle. I bet metalstorm has its uses but IMO its nothing special and the rof is "eye candy". The gatling still packs more destruction and more than enough *SUSTAINED* rof.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I've seen this years ago in a popular sience magazine.

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge,
ye shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be measured
to you again.

See how many former US servicemen are on the board of directors? Hope they were recruited by the company, rather than simply basing it in Australia to avoid US taxes and oversight...
