Wow, amazing video. The fact that the camera move and shakes makes it appear much more real. I wish we could create that effect in FB.

You're making me blush LOL

Glad you like it, and I'm amazed it still generates interest even though I did it back in October last year.

For the record, I'm making a new one.
Go to Ubi's Movie Makers Forum for info...

RennyB, You need the XviD codec to view...
Get it here http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html

Do a web search for divx codecs. You can downloadn and install one for free I am sure. Your Windows Media Player should go look for the codec automatically, but I guess it isnt working for you.

I actually encoded it in XviD. There's no harm in having Divx on your system but it won't enable you to view this. You need XviD and it is completely free :)

RennyB, copy/paste this URL into a web browser and you'll have the DivX codec.

http://download.divx.com/divx/DivX511.exe

Thanks, Fehler, I had the same problem and you're right -- Microsoft is not making it easy to update the DivX codec. I was watching the video in minutes after finding the above codec.

This is easily the most realistic looking movie I've seen... excellent music too. What is that?

For all out action... and some incredible camera angles the my fave has got to be "Secret Weapon Over Stalingrad" by Mystic Puma.

It's a bit over-long but some of the flying is amazing... especially the chase sequences through the chimney stacks. There are some fantastic explosions and the famous "bomb cam".

Good, but I there are much better films out there. My major problem was that there was no coherent reason for the film. First its german bombers, so I guess the Hurricanes and Jugs are going to intercept and kill them, but then the hurricane starts attacking warehouses with 20mm canons (?) while the 190's which had been carrying bombs engage one of the Jugs in a dogfight while the other jug isn't seen or heard from until it blasts a 190 at the end.

For example, Secret Weapon over Stalingrad by one Mysticouma2003 (is that 2004 now?)Not historical, but incredibly well done, great sounds, camera work, incredible down low action, the like of which I have never seen before, some fun high up stuff. This film is probably the most professional of any FB films I have seen. Now if you could just loose the 80's style title it would be even better.

Red Stars Over Berlin by ShadowSix, a historical film about a Pe-8 raid on Berlin.

Dies Irae. I couldn't find the name of the guy who did it in the film, I'm sure someone knows it. A short about Fred Castle. Features additional footage from B-17 Flying Fortress II of inside the B-17.

Good film.

Also there is a fun one featuring IL-2T's and 3M's attacking a battleship. I couldn't find it on my HD, though. Someone please help me out on this one.
