It will be nice if you guys out there please explain all these abbreviations like: LOL, IMAO, BTW, RGR, WTF(I figure this one http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif), IMHO... could not remember all of them. But for sure it will help a lot for all of us that aren't from english speaking countries to better understand things.

Just keep in mind that many of those are not used very commonly. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

LOL = Laugh Out Loud
BTW = By The Way
RGR = Roger
RGRT = Roger That
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion
IMAO = In My Arrogant Opinion <- That's a new one to me. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Great link, though. Helps with some of those more obscure vernaculars. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

In case I wasn't clear, many of the acronyms on the site that Zybot posted are not common. If you tell someone AWGTHTGTATA, they most likely won't have a clue. However, things like,

ASAP = As Soon As Possible
m8 = mate
gr8 = great
S! ~S~ = Salute <-- bet you know that one already. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

are some things you might see online. At one time there was a thread about useful dogfighting (DF) terms that players frequently use online. Buried somewhere in the archives now. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

IMAO could be mistaken for "L"MAO=laugh my a** off

"Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary force:
You are about to embark upon a Great Crusade toward which we have strived these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eiseinhower-Supreme Allied Commander.
