I enjoyed iinitiates, but I rather have all that effort and story put in the modern stuff of the actual GAMES! I

In AC IV Rebecca and Shaun felt more like easter eggs instead of actual characters of this franchise, while at Initiates there was a bunch of interesting stuff going on.....

If all goes well and things go as planned,

never.

Look forward to forcibly torturing yourself using initiates just to open a chest.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the two week release delay was so they could get the Initiates/Unity tie-in working.

When exactly did it go down?

I just started a new game of AC4 to refresh myself before the two new ones come out and noticed that Initiates was down. While I didn't exactly love it, I did like being able to earn special medals for tasks that you did in game, kept the game itself a bit fresh to me in the later stages when I was grinding for the materials to finish upgrading the ship and base.

The end of June.

Man, I 100'd AC3 just because of Initiates (after it went down) and it's still not back... I get why some people don't like it, but I think if they made it more orderly and friendly it could be a great project. I think it was already fun as it was, although somewhat annoying.

I hope the two week delay was spent on removing the ties between initiates and unity.

same with the stupid companion app.

if you're going to have a companion app, make it offer more forms of multiplayer gameplay like in watch_dogs

don't waste my time with chest opening.

and don't hold my 100% completion rating hostage either.

Well.....unless they fear a backlash from the AC community, keep hoping....

I’m excited to see AC:Initiates return and I don’t really mind having to use it to unlock certain chests or do some in-game quests. In fact, I prefer this over having the website asking me to repeat the lame tasks over and over again like “Perform two air assassinations” or “Kill two guards with rope darts” or whatever. I’d love to see some story value added to ACINITIATES and it’s linked to gameplay, like certain actions in the games unlock certain videos on ACINITIATES that have a story value whether on the historical or the modern day portions of the games or certain ACINITIATES missions unlock certain side missions in the game. In that case, the website won’t be a boring task of “point the right location > click sync > see you tomorrow”.

I saw a post on the official twitter from April 24th I believe where the people said it was back up, that was followed by people posting pictures of their 100% collection, but I haven't been able to get on.

I really dont mind initiates making a return...however, it is indeed annoying that they link it so strongly to your 100%
