executive summary:

Freelook is a TrackIR thing that uses a cheap webcam to work its headtrack magic.

Basically, its a budget TrankIR system.

I wouldn't buy it until I hear some customer reviews first.

I used mousevision's Cam2pan.It uses a webcam to track movement.I even got it to work in the dark by mounting an led on top of my headset.A lot of adjusting by it finally seemed to work well.It really ruined my shooting though although you can map a key to shut it off while shooting.(but I kept forgetting).

My 30 day free trial ran out and as I fly "wonder women view" it was not worth it to me to go any further with it.

Cam2Pan is worth the 17 bucks I paid for it. Very easy to set up, and thoroughly tested. BTW, the LED is the way to go.
