Hello,

I'm a huge TDU fan, I signed up for the 1st beta, didn't get a key, by reading my friends impressions who got the beta key and by watching countless video impressions by others of the first beta , I pre-ordered the Retail version immediately.

Guaranteed beta key is only given to people who Pre-order from digital outlets like Uplay or Steam, why not to Retail pre-orders ? Why this unfair treatment ?

I would be really dissapointed if I don't get a key for the 2nd beta as well, even after paying upfront and pre-ordering months before release.

Confirmation of Pre-order -

My Uplay ID is joy_bose10

Thanks

I would guess that it's because Ubisoft have no access to the retailer's pre-order databases, and in most cases even if they did there's no link between a retail pre-order and a UPlay account.
You can still register for a chance to participate at the main game website: http://thecrew-game.ubi.com/ although this will not guarantee a beta key.

I already have signed up for the 2nd beta, the moment it was announced, but chances are rare now because even less keys will be given to sign ups this time as priority will be given to digital pre-orders.

Its sad to see that people who are posting hate posts and foul mouthing the crew and ubisoft on steam have got beta keys and will get to play the 2nd beta as well , yet someone who has been waiting for this game ever since last E3 when it was announced and even after per-ordering it won't get it. :(

Pre-ordering it from some vendors may allow you to take part in the Closed Beta. However, these are only for specific and verified vendors such as Uplay or steam. In the meantime, keep an eye over your email to see if you are able to take part in the beat. Thanks!
