Battle over europe is a mission and campaign expansion for FB/AEP - gives you campaigns (mew dynamic campaign generator) /skins etc (no new planes though) I think its well worth it. There are two upgrade patches for it to work with AEP - something to do with night missions (I cant remember the other patch)

Scenario is (from reading the box I have in front of me http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

June '44 - May '45 12 campaigns (6 US 6 luftwaffe) including normandy and the ardennes. Campaigns are dynamic and you can fly these online.

go get - its worth it.

Hope this helps http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

@ddsads - I think you are in the wrong thread mate http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif however I found this:

The Nazis successfully completed the test launch of the second stage of the V-3. In response, the SSD decided the main objective was to recover exact technical parameters of the missile guidance system from the crashed V-3 test launch and return it to Britain for analysis. An Allied special operations squad, codename â"Condorâ", was dropped off by the submarine Trident on the coast of France near Dunkerque.

That do you?

How come you guys can post in the GD forum?

I can only do this via the link of the main forum choice screen at the last replied thread.

saw this post in the last post column out here:
http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=cfrm&s=400102&f=25910613

clicked on it and posted http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

but the main GD forum link on the page is still gubbed. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

it would appear you can link (get in) to specific topics in the GD but the main "index" of the GD is knackered.

Battle over Europe is just great! You get many new skins, which are wonderful, new American and German campaigns, and with the updates on Justflightâ´s website, you can get British campaign and a night fighter one in the Bf 110.
Briefings are very well done, and escorting B17s in the P51 is so thrilling!

It's good, but it has a drawback in that all missions begin in the air.

Yes, missions before DDay start in the air, as there is no UK map. But once the Allies establish a beach head and gain terrain in France, your missions will begin on the ground again.

The latest patch includes a dynamic RAF campaign. The RAF campaign starts on June 10th and has you flying out of areas right near the beach.

An excellent addition if you ask me. The immersion factor is fantastic.

@Ddsads

No - I never said that, but it was all I could find on the matter in the time I had.
http://www.nat-military-museum.lu/index-curmess-noframe.html?/pageshtml/museumspecial.html
has a little info on the V3 weapon.
also:
http://www.worldwar.nl/secretweapons/secretgerman2.htm
has a paragraph or two.

I cant find much on the "condor squad" to be honest - the codemasters link is the best I can do. I'm not saying that we should take it as read... but what I am saying is that surely it must be based on some element of historical fact - just like IL2 is.

Beleive what you will. I can only offer this info in response to your request.
