Ok, the new "MT" map is cool http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm going to make me a map with it.

BUT

What is up with maps 9-11? I don't see the difference in any of them, except the obvious winter ones. They are all just flat earth.

Kind of reminds me of the CFS1 on-line maps lol except those were brown and nasty.

Just wondering if anybody knew anything about these new maps.

Supposed to be customizable maps - you put your own objects on them, etc.

Good for Free-for-alls...or AirQuake. They could also be used for squadron training.

"Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary force:
You are about to embark upon a Great Crusade toward which we have strived these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eiseinhower-Supreme Allied Commander.

Well the empty maps were requested by the community (like the desert one was) - we owe Oleg that he listens to us...

What's different in the maps I haven't had time to find out yet (realy 2 empty maps).

You have to keep in mind that a map in FB is more than a map alone though. What I still have to test is:

-1- The sun sets/rises different in some maps (according to where they are on the globe), that may be different.
-2- The temperature may differ
-3- The height of the terrain may differ

wouldn't it be funny if one of those featureless flat maps had actually been set at 7000 meters... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif
