Maybe this Idea has been posted or in the works but here it is anyway.

Bomb Retrieval Mode.

Rainbows have to find and defuse a bomb protected by the Enemy. If they haven't been able to defuse the bomb (planted by the enemies beside a nuclear reactor or some volatile area of importance) by a certain time on the [game] clock, then the Rainbows have to grab it to be extracted in a safe location outside of the danger zone be for the (bomb timer) clock expires.
If the rainbows have it in their possession trying to extract it , the enemies can still detonate it by shooting at the bomb carried by the rainbows. So it is vital to work as a team to cover the bomb with shields and covering fire before it reaches the safe zone.

Just an Idea...sort of a take on capture the flag but this time the Flag(bomb) can explode

Can anyone add to this....I think this would be very tense ...you're racing against the clock and the enemy at the same time.....kinda makes you bum go tight eh!!

Some possible new game modes for Rainbow6 Siege when released.

Game Mode #1 - Breach mode
In Breach mode the S.W.A.T. Team must destroy a target within Mercenary/(Terrorists) territory. They must breach walls blocking routes to the target and plant a bomb. The Rainbow Team wins by destroying the target or eliminating all the Mercenaries (no re-spawn match). The Mercenaries win if the time runs out, they defuse a planted bomb or if they eliminate all the RB6 S.W.A.T. Team (no re-spawn match).

Mode #2 - Control mode
In Control mode each team must try and mark five key points around the level. The team that controls all the points, controls more points when time expires or eliminates the other team (no re-spawn match), wins the match.

Mode #3 - Escort mode
In Escort mode the S.W.A.T. team must escort three VIPs across the map to one of two different extraction zones. The S.W.A.T. team can win by extracting two of three hostages by Helicopter, or by eliminating the Mercenaries (no re-spawn match). The Mercenaries can win by eliminating the S.W.A.T. Team (no re-spawn match).

Mode #4 - Extraction mode
In Extraction mode the Mercenary team has possession of three hostages, in which the S.W.A.T. team must get possession of and escort to one of 2 extraction points. The S.W.A.T. team wins by extracting two of three hostages or by eliminating the Mercenaries (no re-spawn match). The Mercenary team wins by eliminating the Commando team (no re-spawn match).

Mode #5 - Demolition mode
An objective based game in which a Bomb is located in a central area of the map and both teams must fight to acquire the Bomb, bring it into the heart of the opposing team's spawn area, and plant the Bomb at a designated location. Either team can acquire and use the Bomb, and there is no penalty placed on a player in possession of the Bomb. If a player carrying the Bomb is killed, the Bomb is dropped on the ground at the point in which the carrier was killed and will remain for a set amount of time for any other player to acquire. Should a player not pick the Bomb up, it will eventually respawn at its starting location. Once the Bomb has been planted in a team's HQ area, they have 30 seconds to attempt to disarm the Bomb. A team wins the round by either successfully planting and defending the Bomb until detonation, or if they disarm a Bomb that was planted in their HQ by the opposing team.

Mode #6 - Suppression mode
Suppression mode is basically a team death match. If re-spawn is off, the team that eliminates all of the opposing team or having the most players alive when time expires wins the match. If re-spawn is on, a team wins by reaching the kill limit that is set or having more kills at the end of the round.

Mode #7 - Elimination mode
Elimination mode is a no re-spawn team death match. The team that completely eliminates the opposing team wins the match. If players remain on both teams when time runs out the round is a draw.

Mode #8 - Sniper Nest
Sniper Nest: Another variation on “Classic” Suppression that boasts higher damage values and weapon restrictions that allow players access to only Smoke and Poison Gas Grenades, Shotguns, and of course, Sniper Rifles. Snipers on each team must eliminate advancing enemy teams to win the match. The opposing team can win the match by flanking and infiltrating the enemy Sniper Nest and killing the enemy Snipers.

I personally like:

- 1. Breach Mode
- 3./4. Escort/Extraction Mode (you could also combine the 2 and make it a 2-round mode (Escort&Extract), but I'd like it either way


Dont like the Team Deathmatch and similar ones so much.
One the one hand I guess we need at least 1 mode where the objective is just killing each other, but I definitely want a majority of the modes to have an objective that goes beyond just killing each other for at least 1 if not both of the teams, because it increases the tactical gameplay.
