What do you mean, the best die , the weak live on? I`m really not sure what this means. Is it to some guy who`s died in reality? or some guy who used to fly with you, but now has left FB? Or you`ve been drinking a bit and just feel like releasing some inner tension?

I remember the last day I have flown with Donald. It was our Practice before he left into the Hospital. I was one of the last that have the honor. We opened a room, we flown as Teams, and he was good, we were good, because some LA´s and YAK´s and whatever was going down in flames. The Redwulf Tactic worked. We had some laughs and suddenly he said to us that were still left: If I dont make it guys,,,,drink a beer. We all didnt think that this will happen. But it did happen.
He never felt alone in the Hospital, we called him via phone , have send him messages, screenshots and one of our Members visited him day after day. It was an up and down in his days in the hospital. A good week came, an average week came, a bad week came and again a good week. Then, within 1 week Donald passed away. Even in his last hours he was thinking and did care about HIS Squadron. Always go up!!In the night before he left us I have had a call with his wife at his bedside. She told me: He cant hear you, he isnt able to talk to you, because he was uncaucious. But she did say it that I tried to reach him hours later. Hours later he closed his eyes forever.... and he knew that his friends are with him.
I asked God for help in my prayers, Please God help him...... and God did help him.

I still remember the last day I have flown with him. I miss him .....and I will drink a beer

I wrote to the Squadron:
I believe the day will come and we fly again side by side, smiling and howling the songs of the Redwulfs. Friendship never dies........

Donald my friend, I cya

Now that I understand what the original post is all about, I have to likewise express my condolences. The original post was a bit unclear to me.

I have a great respect for all the Redwolf pilots, and although I never knew 44 personally, I am sure he was a fine person. I am sorry for the loss of a close personal friend.
