Revolt(ongoing): If you do not spend 1 resource per turn, this creature will be relocated on a random spot on your opponent's board, or sent to the graveyard if there is no room.

Plunder: While this card is on the field your resources are decreased by 1.

With the effect you could give mercenary cards other great effects that make just as good as other factions but with a price. And spoils of war would allow you handle these type of mercenaries.

Positive effects:

Stolen secrets: Copy the effect of an non unique adjacent creature.
Armory reinforcement: duplicate the enchant of an adjacent creature on to another.

These positive effects would make mercenary creatures viable for every faction as they are not really strategy/effect specific.

Restrictions to the effect could include only able to steal effect or enchantment cost if the cost of the mercenary is equal to or more than the chosen card.
