Very nice! But a question why isn't this stuff on the official site that hasn't been updated since before Xmas?

Thanks for the link! I guess it's down more to the relevant board admins than Oleg as to where this stuff ends up. The last update we had ended up on the French (or German?) Ubi board, if I remember rightly. Good to see though, nonetheless!

Cheers,

SSS

(French to English)

Here is a post building of Crazy Yvan.. extracted from mall with M.Maddox. One learn there that the v 1.22 are delayed a little because one y insére of controls anti cheat (cheatings).. What is a roof bus each time the subject is evoked there is always a good heart to explain us that Ca does not exist. that it is not possible. To wonder whether it do not preach for their parish. Within the escadrilles, I think that the probléme is not posed at least one can wish it. On the other hand dice which one approaches to it One line for the fun.. dog or coop.. there it seems well that certain rot the play by using this kind of methods... I raised recently on forum LOMAC following a subject speaking about the ace about the MP about allowing Lock One. has apparatuses to carry missiles not envisaged on certain apparatuses. A type to declare. Ca makes ****. Lock One will become as BFRS.... comprennnent which want. We had raised the debate has several recoveries, and one had us almost laughs with the nose... Here is thus that Mr. Maddox works on this probléme.. and in the add one promises to us still better lockings... The proof that we were in the error!!!

I think Oleg has lost interest in the official site, due to some of the crap/porked/garbage/fix this now' opinions expressed by some people.

Maybe he thinks that if has stays away from the fire, he wont get burned.

The last thing I saw which was supposed to be from him, was that Christmas/New year message, which I didn't think was from him (the signatures in his use of English were not present).

You are more likely to find him on the simhg boards these days.

He communicates with his friends like crazyivan and giddage and they pass on any useful information to us.

The fact that update screenies appear on a French site via crazyivan says to me that you are not going to see much of him on these boards.

He has had enough.

The 10xHVAR + 2x500lb bomb loadout of that P-38 is giving my Fw190F8 a serious case of rocket envy. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Congrats Gib, it must be awesome to see it in-game. The P-38 was truly the most spectacular looking fighter of WWII. It'll be fantastic to fly her.

Cheers for the link.

I agree, the P-38 looks a real stunner. The Spitfire has some competition!

I also noticed we are getting the Go-229 with MK-103's:

http://www.france-simulation.com/update/images/210104/Go-229_3.jpg

Wonder if their will be a MK-108's one as well..... not that I mind if we don't of course http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - Gunther Rall

No Mk-108's on the Gotha. It was only proposed for the night fighter Gotha. The standard Go-229 V3 had only the two Mk-103's for bomber hunting, but it did have two hardpoints for 500KG bombs for ground attack.

As for the P-38, it should also have the option for the 10 HVAR and 2 1000lb bombs. It was also able to carry two 2000lb bombs, but was rarely used. It was used on Ploeste. My loadout of choice will be the 10 HVAR and two 1000lb bombs. Each rocket is a 120 lb shell. So its like firing a small bomb at a target http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The P-63 also had a good loadout. two 500lb and 1 1000lb was the max. But I think the P-38 will have the best mud moving capability in a fighter, and still be able to fight its way out.

Gib

Yes. A flying remote controled bomb.

Does anyone know the payload of the mistel? Also, what type of explosive was used? Could it be exploded by shooting the bomb?
