So, I had been playing this game for two months without problems (except for the slowness sometimes) till two weeks ago.

I resumed the game today and saw that there was an obligatory patch for the game. I installed it and entered the game as always; but when I was going to enter the bike-selection screen the game crashed instantly. It keeps happening again even when I unistalled and reinstalled the game again.

I'm using a laptop with these specifications:

Dell Inspiron 17r SE
Intel Core I7-3630QM -> CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40GHz
8 GB RAM
64 bit Windows 7 system
NVIDIA GT650M 2GB (340.43 Driver)
DirectX 11

I attach a screenshot of the problem (my system is in spanish):

I've tried using the integrated Intel HD Graphics Card for the game but the same problem happens.
I also tried using full-screen and windowed mode, but nothing changes.

The funny thing is that in the patch notes it says that this exact problem specifically should be fixed.

Thank you in advance.

Hi kaikemaster,

On first look, the only thing that can cause such problem is that you have Nvidia Beta driver. :(
But i'm not sure.... we will try to reproduce it on our side at first.

I will keep you in touch.

Thank you for the response.

So, I think the problem got solved!.

I noticed an option in the "Play" Button in Uplay that said "Check integrity of files", just below the Uninstall option. The funny thing is that this is the only Ubisoft game I own that has this option.

After clicking on it, it said there were problems with the files intalled:

It then started o install files (as if in the previous intallations it was wrong):

And finally it said everiyhing was fine.
I played the game again and it waorked, better than ever (I suppose, thanks to the newer patch):

Thank you so much for the help anyway :)
