Oleg,

What do you think will be the rec system requirements for BOB?

I know its a while off but could you give a guess?

Even if it means reccomending something like PCI express.

Thanks

Too hard for anyone, even the most informed tech industry person, to even guess at this point. Within 6 months of shipping there will probably be a better idea...

Take some advice and don't plan a significant upgrade now if thats what your thinking. Do it in the middle of 2005 before the game comes out or even wait till after the game comes out and buy a rig that will deal with it.

IIRC, Oleg said on this board some time ago that who is able to play FB with excellent settings will not have problems with BoB...

Altitude, speed, manoeuvre and.... CRASH!

Think of that in this perspective.... anything top of the line today will be average at best by the end of 2005. Unfortunately it`s true http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

I wonder if they are going to wait for new hardware to be released before relasing the game.

Allow me to disagree with you too yey1.
I think weapons example is not really valid. There are too big a changes coming. Revolution more or less http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

My computer was top of the line last march... it just 1 year old... and it`s already far from being top of the line. It is still very good after all overclocking and tweaking... but not even close to the best of them. But nothing really happend for the past year....big changes ahead of us http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I seem to recall that he was talking about *perfect* settings, not excellent. Could be wrong, though.
