I'm going there for a tournament, and while my team and I are there, we want to find something to do. Anything besides the National museum of Bowling would be good.

Anything aviation related?

You could try mugging someone.
Some shoplifting.
Or set off the fire alarm in a mall.

All these things are fun to do during a trip someplace you may never return to.

The tram ride to the top of arch is worth your time. Especially if its windy... VERY EXCITING when the wind is high!

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">
Specs:
More expensive than the dining set.
Less expensive than the couch.
Smaller than the dishwasher.
Just as noisy as the refridgerator.
Faster than the cars' computer.
Less practical than the car.
Face it, people who put thier computer specs in thier signature are pretty ****ing wierd.

There are lots of casinos and if you are really feeling adventurous there are the grownups clubs http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif across the river in E. St. Louis.

I've lived here for about 25 years and still have not been up in the Arch so I can't comment other than to say it looks cool from where I sit at work.

Take a tour of the Arch and the Westward Expansion museum under it (literally under it) for a little historical background. If you are interested at all in American history, there is an excellent exhibition covering Lewis and Clark's exploration of the Louisiana purchase in the History Museum, found in Forest Park just off of Lindell Blvd (also Forest Park Metro station). There is replica of 'The Spirit Of St. Louis" also hanging from the roof there as well as a lot of local history.

For night life, I strongly recommend the Delmar Loop area (Delmar Metro station), which has a fabulous bar in Blueberry Hill, a beautifully restored cinema, The Tivoli, and an outstanding music venue, The Pageant. Also lots of other bars and restaurants around there.

Other good night spots are on Washington Ave, downtown, the Landing right down on the river front, and Grand Avenue.

For seedier nightlife, East Saint Louis and surrounds - directly across the Mississippi and also easily accessible using the Metro train - is full of strip-joints and has a Casino...

Anyway, a few suggestions!

Thanks guys! We'll definitely check out the arch and the westward expansion museum. As for the "nightlife," we're a bunch of High School teenagers, so the strip clubs and bars are not a good idea!

I am a Stl resident.

I would recommend Forest Park. Today was my last day of school (which is across the highway from FoPo), so we went and hung out in the park for a good 5 or so hours. We walked to the Delmar loop (little shopping district, a vintage vinyl, resturants, art-theaters, etc.), cutting through the Wash U. campus. A great day. Go to Art Hill in Forest Park, its in front of the art museum. They just redid it, its absolutely beautiful and a real good walk.

Arch is cool too, but only to out-of-towners.

Hmm, There are probably some concerts or something, check stltoday.com for things.

Defently go up in the arch and view the museum stuff! Then there is Budwizer facility. Then Six Flags aaswell. I live south west of St Loius about 3 hours we get up there about every other year. Just get on line and get A Missouri tourism packet http://www.missouritourism.org/
sent to you. There is plenty of stuff in St. lios to do.

I always go out to airport and sit at the end of teh runway for awhile and let the jets pass over. When landing. I have done it on the take off end but don't sit long the gaurds will definetly come to run you off. But what a rush when them suckers go over so close you can nearly touch them. LOL
