If I make the files:
CampaignCustom1945.dat
1945.DB
1945Red.mis
1945Blue.mis
by editing the existing NGen campaigns, but listed only 1944-45 planes in the DB file, why doesn't Ngen make missions with these planes? No matter what I do, I can't get an late-war online campaign going.

Also, a friend of mine was hosting a default Ngen campaign, but some of the player's planes always flipped over on the runway everytime the mission began. Anyone know about this strange behaviour?

NGen won't be able to take AEP planes in the campaign. If you have any AEP planes in the DB file, remove them and then try it.

But that's my point. NGen is a new generator right? It came with the AEP release, yet it doesn't seem to be able to generate missions using the new AEP planes.
But if you generate online campaign missions, then edit the .mis file that was generated, using the 'class' tag to replace older planes with newer ones (Eg. spitfires), the missions play fine. It's just the generation that doesn't work. Why? What's the point in limiting the online campaigns to the older planeset???
